  • Patent number: 9631748
Abstract: A clamping belt for a pipe coupling for connecting smooth-end pipes in a force-closed manner has ends that overlap each other, where the width of the two ends of the clamping belt that overlap each other together is no more than the width of the clamping belt in the longitudinal section between the ends. A pipe coupling using the clamping belt has a sealing element and an anchoring element that surrounds the sealing element. The anchoring element includes elements that follow one another in the circumferential direction.

Abstract: The invention relates a tensioning or pipe clamp with a housing (22) comprising a longitudinal slot (23), wherein the regions of the housing (22) lying opposite one another at the longitudinal slot (23) are constituted as bent brackets (24, 26), and with a tensioning mechanism (32) for tightening the housing (22). The tensioning mechanism (32) comprises a first bolt (33) and a second bolt (35), which are each provided in the brackets (24, 26), and a tensioning means (36) which is held in the first bolt (33) and can be swivelled relative to the second bolt (35). The tensioning mechanism (32) also comprises a distance part (42), which comprises a contact section (43) which can be brought into contact with a contact region (40) of the second bolt (35), and a feed-through opening (46) for the tensioning means (36), said feed-through opening being spaced apart from the contact section (43) of the distance part (42).

  • Publication number: 20150035275
Abstract: A clamping belt (6) for a pipe coupling (1) for the friction-locked connection of, in particular, smooth-end pipes (2) comprises mutually overlapping ends (6a, 6b), wherein the width of the two mutually overlapping ends (6a, 6b) of the clamping belt (6) together corresponds at most to the width of the clamping belt (6) in the longitudinal portion between these ends (6a, 6b), and at least one longitudinal slot (6d) extending in the longitudinal direction of the clamping belt (6) is also provided in the end of the clamping belt (6) that is passed through the longitudinal slot (6c) of the other end. A pipe coupling using this clamping belt (6) comprises a sealing element (3), if need be an anchoring element (4) surrounding this sealing element (3), said anchoring element comprising elements (4a) following one another in the circumferential direction.

  • Patent number: 8292331
Abstract: A sleeve-shaped anchoring element for pipe couplings sealing pipes, with an essentially cylindrical housing and a sealing element of rubber-elastic material that is arranged in the housing. The anchoring element is arranged in the housing and has individual longitudinal supports connected to each other by means of deformable webs and having a C-shaped longitudinal section. Ends of the longitudinal supports are configured as limbs angled radially inwards. Free ends of the limbs can be brought into engagement with at least one of the pipes when the pipe coupling is clamped. Only one single web is provided between two adjacent longitudinal supports, and the two webs of a longitudinal support are arranged offset with respect to each other in the axial direction for connection to the adjacent longitudinal supports.

  • Patent number: 7866707
Abstract: A seal anchor for pipe couplings suited for frictional connection of smooth-ended pipes. The seal anchor has a housing, and at least one sealing element, for example of rubber-elastic material, arranged therein. The anchor may be of generally L-shaped cross-section and has a first limb extending in the axial direction and a second limb extending at an acute angle to the first limb. The anchoring element blank is provided with slots which run across its width in the longitudinal direction relative to the limbs and between the limbs. One or more webs span the slots to join adjacent limbs.

  • Publication number: 20100283236
Abstract: A sleeve-shaped anchoring element is disclosed for pipe couplings for connecting flat-ended pipes, with an essentially cylindrical housing and at least one sealing element consisting of rubber-elastic material which is arranged in the housing. The anchoring element is arranged in the housing and consists essentially of individual longitudinal supports which are connected to each other by means of deformable webs and have a C-shaped longitudinal section. The ends of the longitudinal supports are configured as limbs which are angled radially inwards. The free ends of the limbs can be brought into engagement with at least one of the pipes when the pipe coupling is clamped. In each case only one single web is provided between two adjacent longitudinal supports. The two webs of a longitudinal support are arranged offset with respect to each other in the axial direction for connection to the adjacent longitudinal supports, seen in the circumferential direction.
