  • Publication number: 20240113938
Abstract: Techniques are described herein that are capable of providing a recommendation of an admin change (i.e., an admin change recommendation) in an enterprise. A type of intended admin change that an administrator is to perform with regard to an enterprise is determined. The type is cross-referenced with information indicating admin changes made by administrator(s) in environment(s) of enterprise(s) and values of metrics resulting therefrom to identify subsets of the information to which the type corresponds. A causal relationship is inferred between admin change(s) made after an admin change of the type and an increase in value(s) of metric(s) that are indicated by information in the subsets. A recommended admin change is recommended to be performed by the administrator based at least in part on a causal relationship between the recommended admin change and an increase in at least one of the value(s) of at least one of the respective metric(s).

  • Publication number: 20040216084
Abstract: Systems and methods provide one or more automated tools for controlling web site deployment and governing content update. Such tools ensure a consistent look-and-feel for a deployed web site, accurate content, and web site referential integrity. A web content engine advantageously manages a wide variety of web site components which are building blocks of a web site. The web content engine also manages information about relationships among the various components. In addition, the web content engine may also associate one or more workflow processes with individual components and with groups of components. A workflow process may automatically be executed when associated web content is created, modified, deleted, or the like. The web content engine may also include a deployment service that ensures that newly created or modified components are deployed in a manner that maintains the consistency or referential integrity of a web site.

  • Publication number: 20040133873
Abstract: A system for developing and maintaining a computer application in an enterprise environment, beginning with an incomplete application, preferably on an application server in a Java enterprise environment. A framework used for completing the incomplete application includes reusable service components and vertical pre-configurations of these components adapted for classes of enterprise environments having a commercially viable customer base, together with a toolkit for using the application's language to build reusable service components from scratch. Completion of the application using the framework is driven by business process requirements of a specified enterprise environment. The application is maintained, responsive to changes in the business process requirements, by using the framework to repeat the completion process with business process requirements revised to incorporate the changes.
