Patent number: 9071967Abstract: Various embodiments enable devices to share network authentication credentials or other information. For example, a computing device authorized to access a wireless network can be used to manage access to the wireless network, such as by modifying, sharing, or creating a password to access the wireless network. A peer-to-peer connection can be established between the authorized computing device and at least one other computing device (e.g., a guest computing device). Upon establishing the peer-to-peer connection between the devices, a service, application, or system component operating on each device can be used to share network authentication credentials between the devices. For example, the user of the authorized device can cause to be transmitted network authentication credentials to a guest computing device.Type: GrantFiled: May 31, 2013Date of Patent: June 30, 2015Assignee: AMAZON TECHNOLOGIES, INC.Inventors: Damon Michael Davies, Mike Kan, Scott Austin Haynie, Aidan Nicholas Low, David MacGregor Foltz

Patent number: 7739657Abstract: A robust toolkit provides facilities that can be assembled in a modular manner to specify the fundamental architecture of a net-centric application. A bootstrapping process assembles various facilities within the architecture. A configuration facility defines an API for getting properties that can be defined in any number of different types of sources. A factory de-couples how a resource is produced from where the resource is used. A selector framework applies standard query language to contexts other than querying a database. A pipeline architecture defines a model view controller-like framework for a processing pipeline. Selectors are used to specify when certain portions of a Web conversation should be made available to a user. An authorization facility associates permissions with a user to specify which portions of an application a user is authorized to use.Type: GrantFiled: September 16, 2005Date of Patent: June 15, 2010Assignee: Accenture Global Services GmbHInventor: Damon Michael Rolfs

Publication number: 20070008186Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method of producing an instrumentation interface. The method includes the steps of receiving instrument data to be depicted via an indicator of the instrumentation interface, processing the instrument data to determine a motion trail for the indicator, and generating the instrumentation interface with the indicator and the motion trail. In some embodiments, the processing step includes generating a low-pass filtered representation of the received instrument data. To that end, the received instrument data may be applied to a cascaded pair of low-pass filters.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 20, 2005Publication date: January 11, 2007Applicant: BRUNSWICK CORPORATIONInventors: Sheldon Michaels, Damon Michaels, John Wyant
