Abstract: An expandable fixture for various linear lamp lengths that includes telescoping segments and a lamp connector connected to one or more of the telescoping segments. The telescoping segments defines a longitudinal axis and includes at least two segments slidably engaged with each other. In this way, the length of the expandable fixture may be increased and decreased along the longitudinal axis of the expandable fixture. The expandable fixture may include a mechanism to lock the expandable fixture at the adjusted length. In a typical version, the expandable fixture may have a length of about forty-eight (48) inches when fully extended and about twenty-four (24) inches when fully contracted, with the electrical ballast being housed within the fixture.

Abstract: An LED lighting tube having a first segment, a second segment, and a rotating connector between the segments. Each segment has an elongated cylindrical housing, an aperture in the sidewall of the cylindrical housing, a reflector centered within the aperture, a circuit board within the cylindrical housing, and a rotatable electrical coupling connected to an outer end of the cylindrical housing. The circuit board has an LED that aligns with the aperture. The rotatable electrical coupling has a limiter insert that provides a rotative stop, a collet that at least partially surrounds the limiter insert and is rotatable about the limiter insert, and an interface connector secured to the limiter insert and in electrical communication with the circuit board. The rotatable electrical coupling permits the LED lighting tube to connect to a light fixture while also permitting the cylindrical housing to rotate relative to the light fixture.

Abstract: A patient interaction apparatus 10 includes a medical server 13 that generates a reflexive survey as a result of items of interest (such as abnormal or unexpected vital signs) in objective or subjective data reported from a patient interface device 11. The survey of the present invention reacts to objective results with the intent of probing into the patient's current condition. The patient survey of the present invention specifically probes why a patient's weight, blood pressure, or pulse rate, to name only a few examples, may be higher than expected. Various methods for determining the trigger conditions and the elimination of erroneously reported vital signs are set forth.

In one preferred embodiment, the activator unit is a pneumatic airbag. The activator unit may have a plurality of chambers. In one preferred embodiment, the actuation arm has a transfer section and an engagement section. The transfer section is for transferring movement from the activator unit to the engagement section. The actuation arm is preferably pivotably attached to the main chassis.
