  • Publication number: 20130226463
Abstract: Computational systems and methods for deghosting marine seismic streamer data using cost-functional minimization are disclosed. In one aspect, the method computationally transforms recorded wavefield data from the space-time domain to a wavenumber-frequency domain and computationally deghosts the wavefield data in the wavenumber-frequency domain. The deghosted wavefield data may then computationally transformed from the wavenumber-frequency domain back to the space-time domain and stored. The computational methods include iterative minimization of a cost functional in the wavenumber-frequency domain.

  • Publication number: 20090126155
Abstract: A foldable electronic device comprising a first and second housing element and a coupling assembly, including a linkage assembly and a biasing member, that directs the housing elements between a closed and a deployed orientation. The linkage assembly includes a plurality of adjacently disposed links collectively defining a first end and a second end. The first end is coupled to the first housing element and the second end is coupled to the second housing element. Each link is rotatably coupled to each adjacently disposed link and includes an outward limiting member limiting the relative rotation of adjacent links in an outward direction of rotation. The biasing member is coupled to the housing elements and outwardly biases the housing elements relative to each other to direct rotation of the housing elements toward the deployed orientation. The operable length of the biasing member changes as the housing elements are rotated toward the deployed orientation.

  • Publication number: 20080005945
Abstract: A retractable banner stand has a banner, a support base, a mast, a retracting mechanism, and a means for imparting a curvature in the horizontal plane on the banner. Typically a cross member will be provided for supporting the banner in an extended upright position and typically the base will be a housing that included the retracting mechanism. The means for imparting a curvature may comprise a pair of elongate forms each with a banner engaging area that has a curved surface. The elongate forms can be resiliently flexible to repeatably provide and release the curved surface upon set-up and take-down. Various means for holding the resiliently flexible form in place include hinged spacers, slidable spacers, hinged form, or slidable form connected to the base. Alternatively, the curved surface may be rigid and insertable into engagement with the banner.

  • Patent number: 7143553
Abstract: The modular multi-configurable display has a series of box frames and provides variable positioning for appurtenances. The display can include a plurality of vertical columns, and generally horizontal trusses. The columns are capable of receiving the trusses at each end of the columns. Each box frame can be stackable with another box frame such that the vertical span of the display is adjustable. Appurtenance can be attached at various positioning locations to the display such that a myriad of modular configuration combinations are available to an exhibitor.

  • Publication number: 20040163778
Abstract: A modular multi-configurable display system includes multiple interchangeable components. The system includes a plurality of vertical columns, a plurality of horizontal trusses members, which may be arcuate or linear, and optionally a plurality of extension modules. The columns are capable of removably receiving the horizontal arcuate and linear members or extension modules at each end of the columns. Each column may be formed of one or typically two elongated box frames that are removably stackable and connectable with respect to each other or with extension modules. Each box frame has elongate frame members secured and braced with webbing only at the ends. The elongate frame members are free from webbing or bracing between the end webbings. Appurtenant components, such as shelves or tables, may be attached at any desired location along the bracing-free length of the columns.

  • Publication number: 20040107666
Abstract: A column assembly for a display frame structure. The structure includes an open paralellpiped box frame structure having a plurality of frame segments coupled with a pair of end webbing members. An extension module, in the form of a hollow geometrically shaped sheet metal enclosure, may be coupled at one end of the box frame structure to form the column assembly. The paralellpiped box frame structure and extension module are capable of removably connecting with the other similar elongated box frame structures and extension modules to achieve a multiplicity of various display frame configurations.

  • Patent number: 6712229
Abstract: The frame attachment system is a unitary-bodied frame attachment member being selectively and removably attachable to a vertical column member for attaching shelving brackets, and attachments of the like. The frame attachment system essentially includes three portions: a bracing portion, a grasping portion, and a slot portion. The grasping portion is substantially u-shaped for attachment around the vertical column member with the bracing portion being in perpendicular opposition to the grasping portion. The slot portion is proximate the bracing portion and includes a plurality of slots capable of receiving shelving brackets such that the insertion of a shelving bracket results in the bracket flushly resting against the vertical column member and thus limiting movement of the frame attachment member.
