    Abstract: A method and system for designing an integrated circuit layout are disclosed. In one embodiment, the method includes generating a stem cell library with stem cell layouts, wherein each stem cell layout includes an analog core area where a device element resides, and abutment boundaries on left, right, top, and bottom sides of the analog core area. The method also includes mapping device elements in a schematic netlist to the stem cell layouts in the stem cell library. In addition, the method includes placing and routing the mapped device elements to optimize a layout for the schematic netlist.

    Abstract: A shell-like insert made from a low-friction material is useful in a coupler for railway cars. The coupler may have a male connector on one car and a female connector on the other. The connectors conform to each other and provide a clearance space therebetween. The male connector may include a ball stud and the female connector may provide a socket for the ball. The insert conforms to the clearance space and is made from a low-friction material, such as PTFE, a filament wound composite or an epoxy-impregnated PTFE and glass-fiber material, or the like. A railway car assembly may include two cars joined by a coupler as described herein. The cars may be joined by providing a rear follower and a front follower in the female connector to provide the socket, and positioning an insert in the socket between the ball and one or both followers.

    Abstract: A power distribution circuit built with wiring layers that reside above an analog circuit is described. The power distribution circuit comprises one or more capacitive structures that reside above the analog circuit. At least one of the one or more capacitive structures has electrodes that provide supply and/or reference voltages and their corresponding currents to said analog circuit. A machine readable medium is described to perform a method in order to design the power distribution circuit. The method includes: assigning a specific supply or reference voltage to each of the electrodes; and, determining wiring dimensions for each of the electrodes. The wiring dimensions for the electrodes of at least one of the capacitive structures is are based at least in part on IR drop concerns.

For example, queries based on epidemiological data can be processed to generate results. The results can be further refined and analyzed. For example, further queries can be based on gene expression criteria to identify gene expression phenomena within the results. Grouping of data into sets is supported, and analysis tools can determine feature differences between sets or otherwise present the sets in a variety of ways, including visual depiction of gene expression data.
