    Abstract: A device and a method for microwave feeding of an oven cavity by means of a coupling slot (1) which is fed by a waveguide. The a-dimension of the waveguide is significantly larger than the effective a-dimension of the slot. The slot comprised a radiating main slot part (5) and slot extensions (6,7) projecting from it at its respective sides, which extension have a substantially smaller cross-dimension than the b-dimension of the main slot part.

    Abstract: A multi-service integrated hardware circuit (20) transmits cells between an external interface (62) and plural on-board service devices (701, 702, 72, and 74) handling differing telecommunication services. The on-board service devices include one or more ATMF transceivers (701, 702), a Utopia 2 level device (74), and a circuit emulator (72) which interfaces with one of a PCM interface (301, 302) and an E1 or TI interface (32). The multi-service circuit comprises a multiplexer/demultiplexer core (60) which connects to the external interface (62) and which connects via an internal interface (64) to the plural service devices. In the illustrated embodiments, the external interface (62) and internal interface (64) are Utopia level 2 interfaces.

  • Microwave oven cavity including a grill element

    Abstract: A microwave oven with an oven cavity and a microwave feed system which produces a microwave distribution of polarized microwaves with essentially defined field vector orientations relative to one of the walls of the cavity. A zone defining an expansion of volume which opens into the cavity and whose dimensions are tuned to the wavelength and field distribution in the cavity, is disposed in a wall of the cavity. The expansion does not affect the effective field distribution in the cavity and can be used for concealed placement of a grill element or light source.
