Abstract: A fraud and abuse detection method includes analyzing an incoming call in near real-time using a sentiment analysis module, where the sentiment analysis module includes one or more sentiment analysis models configured to analyze a sentiment of a callee's voice. The method includes generating a confidence risk score in near real-time based on the sentiment analysis of the incoming call, where the confidence risk score corresponds to a likelihood of fraud or abuse based on the sentimental analysis data from the sentiment analysis module. The method includes performing one or more actions using a circuit breaker module based on a determined risk score, where the one or more actions include one or more risk threshold tier actions corresponding to a respective confidence risk score.
