  • Patent number: 11542411
Abstract: The invention utilizes swelling and fusion effects of graphene oxide in a solvent to implement cross-linked bonding of a graphene material itself and materials such as polymers, metal, paper, glass, carbon materials, and ceramics. The present invention not only overcomes the shortcoming in traditional adhesives of residual formaldehyde, but also has short drying time, high bonding strength and high corrosion resistance. The present invention is widely applied in the fields of aviation, aerospace, automobiles, machinery, construction, chemical, light industry, electronics, electrical appliances, and daily life, etc.

Inventors: Chao Gao, Zheng Li, Chunxiao Zhang, Dan Chang, Chen Chen, Weiwei Gao, Yan Guo, Yi Han
  • Patent number: 11486086
Abstract: Disclosed in the present disclosure are a self-fused graphene fiber and a method of preparing the same. Dried graphene oxide fibers are soaked in a solvent to swell and then the fibers are pulled out and coalesced. After being dried, the graphene oxide fibers are fused together, and then are further reduced to obtain a self-fused graphene fiber. The entire self-fusion process can be quickly finished within one minute without adding any additional binder. The operation is simple and time-saving. The process is environmentally friendly; the bond strength is high, and the excellent properties such as outstanding mechanical strength and electrical conductivity of the graphene fibers themselves can be maintained. The present disclosure has great research and application value for further preparation of two-dimensional graphene fabrics or three-dimensional network bulks with excellent performance.

  • Patent number: 6451426
Abstract: A sealable film comprises: (a) an inner layer comprising an olefin polymer; (b) a sealing layer; and (c) a separable layer positioned between the inner layer and the sealing layer, the separable layer comprising (1) ethylene-propylene block copolymer or (2) a blend of polyethylene and another olefin which is incompatible with the polyethylene, specifically either (i) polypropylene homopolymer or (ii) ethylene-propylene block copolymer. Methods of making the sealable film are described.
