  • Patent number: 8631619
Abstract: A grille attachment system is provided for releasably attaching a grille made of crisscrossing grille components to a window or door having a frame and a glazing unit. The attachment system includes grille clips on the ends of the grille components that are each movable between a first or inactive position and a second or active position in which they engage the frame of the window or door to hold the grille in place. Movement of the grille toward engagement with the glazing unit of the window or door causes the clips to move to their second positions, thereby engaging the frame and holding the grille in place. Pulling the grille away from the glazing unit causes the clips to move back to their first positions, thereby releasing the grille from the frame and the window or door.

  • Patent number: 6135306
Abstract: A plastic fuel tank for use in a vehicle to carry gasoline, diesel fuel and the like has an upper wall, a lower wall and side walls. In order to inhibit relative deflection of the upper and lower wall toward each other, such as may occur when vacuum pressure is introduced into the tank by typical fuel sensor systems, the tank is equipped with a resilient columnar member extending between the upper and lower walls. The resilient columnar member thus limits deflection and changes in volume of the tank to not greater than one liter. The columnar member is hollow so as to not reduce the fuel capacity of the tank. The columnar member may be held in position by structural walls within the tank or by welding to either the top or bottom wall of the tank.

  • Patent number: 4898345
Abstract: A skyboard which is an apparatus using the combination of a specially designed surfboard and a parachute to enable the rider to ride the skyboard in a manner similar to the rider's positioning on a surfboard and which will enable the rider to ride the air currents of the sky in a much more exciting manner than through conventional gliders or hand gliders. The skyboard is a lightweight object formed in the general shape of a surfboard and which is modified to include at least a pair of front wings and a pair of rear wings on its lateral sides, a pair of fins on its underside and a pair of foot or shoe binders on its upper surface to accommodate and hold the rider's feet or shoes.
