  • Patent number: 12085016
Abstract: Nacelle inlet structures, engine assemblies and vehicles including the same, and related methods. A nacelle inlet structure of an engine assembly includes an inlet outer barrel and an inlet inner barrel with a tubular portion and an inlet attachment flange. The tubular portion of the inlet inner barrel extends at least partially along a direction parallel to the engine axis, while the inlet attachment flange extends from the tubular portion. The inlet attachment flange is integrally formed with at least a portion of the tubular portion of the inlet inner barrel. The inlet attachment flange is configured to be operatively coupled to an engine case of the engine assembly to operatively couple the nacelle inlet structure to the engine case. In examples, a method of manufacturing an inlet inner barrel includes forming a composite laminate with a composite manufacturing process.

  • Patent number: 9364379
Abstract: The present invention provides a standing mobility and/or transfer device for handicapped users including an articulating foot platform system effective to move a foot platform between a rearwardly tilted user-receiving condition located close to the floor and an elevated, forwardly tilted condition for user transport at a standing-prone angle. Bilateral lift arms move in concert with the raising and lowering function of the foot platform to elevate the person to a standing-prone position from a seated position. In a raised position, the lift arms are located alongside a user to provide additional posture control. Optional motors associated with one or more wheels of the device may be controlled by the user with a joystick for self-propelled standing mobility.

  • Patent number: 7647732
Abstract: A device for releasably fastening up to four adjacent slab corners to a support wall or ceiling. The device is positioned at a common point of adjacency of a number of slabs. A locking disk having a quadrant notch is rotatively mounted orthogonally to the surface of the slabs, and engages or disengages slots cap in the thickness of the slabs according to the angular orientation of the disk. The device is capped by a decorative rosette having an appendage projecting loop bracket shaped and dimensioned to accommodate a bud vase. The device is particularly indicated for fastening slabs used to cover adjacent funerary crypts.

  • Publication number: 20070248473
Abstract: The present invention is a drum pressurization device for safely and reliably pressurizing a liquid storage barrel with air from an air pump. The drum pressurization device includes a housing having a bottom and sides dimensioned and configured to house the barrel, the housing bottom dimensioned and configured to support the bottom of the barrel and the housing sides dimensioned and configured to snugly retain the barrel sides. The device further includes a top movably mounted to the housing sides and movable between an open position wherein the housing top does not engage the top of the barrel and a locked position wherein the housing top is locked in position and securely engages and holds down the top of the barrel housing. The pressurization device further includes a pressure regulator coupled to the barrel for controlling the pressurization of the barrel by the air pump.

  • Patent number: 6209576
Abstract: An automatic fluid shut-off device for interrupting fluid flow through a fluid supply path in a fluid delivery system. The automatic fluid shut-off device includes: a fluid flow sensor structured and disposed for monitoring fluid flow in a fluid supply path; a control panel housing, a central processing unit, and including a visual display panel, programming buttons, and indicator lights; and either a solenoid actuated fluid shut-off valve or relay that interrupts power to a fluid pump. The fluid flow sensor monitors fluid flow in the fluid supply path and outputs the fluid flow data to the central processing unit. The central processing unit compares the measured fluid flow value with the value preprogrammed for the particular operating conditions or for the particular active zone in a multi-zone fluid delivery system.

  • Patent number: 5323313
Abstract: This invention is a novel document preparation system in which a user is capable of viewing various permutations of a predefined portion of text. With this invention the display of variations in text is performed automatically. This provides a technique by which the developer can more quickly audit the results of his work and on the user's side it permits the user to rapidly see a wide variety of different transactions which is of enormous use to a young associate learning a particular practice area. In one embodiment, the user is provided with a subset of the total number of permutations of a particular portion of text. Various techniques are used to provide only "meaningful" variations of the text, thereby avoiding the need for the user to view what might be an extremely large number of permutations, many of which are of no real import based upon the task at hand.
