  • Publication number: 20070041777
Abstract: A magnetic spring clip device is designed that attaches to a writing instrument, lighting instrument, or any other similar type device. The invention further provides a magnetic spring clip system that enables a person to better secure various types of instruments to the person's clothing. In this system, a magnet attached to the arm of the spring clip forms an attraction to a magnet housed in the instrument. This magnetic attraction causes the magnets to come together thereby securing any material inserted between the magnets.

  • Publication number: 20060282989
Abstract: A magnetic pocket pouch is designed to attach to the pocket of a clothing item. The magnetic pocket pouch has front side, a backside and an extension from the backside capable of folding either forward or backward. When folded in a forward or closed position, the pocket pouch fits inside the pocket of a clothing item. Magnets on the front side and the extension connect to close and secure the outer side of the pocket between the front side and extension of the pouch thereby securing the pouch to the pocket of the clothing item. The extension also folds back in an open position. In this position, magnets on the extension and backside of the pouch connect and secure the outer wall of the clothing item pocket between the backside and extension of the pouch. In the closed position, the pouch hangs outside the pocket of the clothing item.

  • Publication number: 20060239759
Abstract: An improved illuminated writing instrument comprises a writing element, a lighting element and an attaching element. The writing and lighting elements are secured to each other via the attaching element. The writing and lighting are secured to each other through openings in the attaching element. The attaching element has an exterior surface formed of elastic grippers that provide increased stability between the user and the writing instrument. The attaching element also has the capability to alter its shape in response to pressure from the user's fingers. This capability to alter the shape of the attaching element enables the user to easily and comfortably hold the writing instrument.

  • Publication number: 20060055869
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a removable magnetic clasp for eyeglasses. The eyeglasses have a right temple bar and a left temple bar pivotally attached to an eyeglasses frame body. The magnetic clasp comprises: a first connector and a second connector; a first magnet being positioned on the first connector and a second magnet being positioned on the second connector. A channel extends through a portion of each connector and the channel is configured to so as to allow a temple bar to slide through the channel. The removable magnetic clasp, when attached to eyeglasses, allows for the first and second magnets to remain in attractive magnetic communication when the temple bars are closed but separated by clothing material, the attractive magnetic communication imparting a gripping force on the clothing material sufficient enough to substantially prevent relative movement between the temple bars and the clothing material.

  • Publication number: 20050264755
Abstract: An eyeglasses clasp for maintaining eyeglasses on a clothing material. The clasp comprises at least one magnetic means engaged with the eyeglasses temple bars that align with each other but not with the eyeglasses frame body midpoint when the temple bars are closed. The magnets are in attractive magnetic communication when the temple bars are closed. The clasp is used by pivoting one of the temple bars into the closed position. The frame body and closed temple bar are then positioned on one side of a clothing material. The second temple bar is then pivoted into the closed position such that it is on the other side of the clothing material. With the temple bars closed, the magnets are in attractive magnetic communication and impart a gripping force on the article of clothing. The gripping force substantially prevents relative movement between the temple bars and the clothing material.
