Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a sensor arrangement (2) for detecting an intracranial pressure, said arrangement (2) comprising: a housing (8) defining an internal space (15a; 15b) which is configured for accommodating a pressure sensor device (9) and an electronic control unit (14) to which said pressure sensor device (9) is connected; and fastening means (7; 2b) cooperating with said housing (8) for mounting, optionally in a permanent manner, said arrangement (2) in a human skull bone (3). Furthermore, the housing (8) is arranged with an opening (11) which is covered by a membrane (12) being made of titanium or a similar thin and flexible material, and is configured for generating vibrations in accordance with an existing outer pressure, said vibrations being transferred to said pressure sensor device (9). The invention also relates to a method for detecting an intracranial pressure.
