A non-invasive method of measuring tissue oxygenation includes, in some embodiments, illuminating a tissue surface with a first fiberoptic fiber, receiving light from the tissue surface with a second fiberoptic fiber, measuring the absorption spectra of oxy- and deoxy-hemoglobin in the light, and calculating a tissue oxygenation value based on the absorption spectra.
