  • Publication number: 20210166103
Abstract: A vehicle recommender system includes a storage system storing a trained neural network trained to generate a vehicle recommendation, a vehicle database comprising vehicle attribute data, and a driver database comprising driver profile data. A processing system communicates with the storage system and is configured to generate enriched driver profile data by comparing user-generated driver profile data to the location characteristic data and social characteristic data. The processing system calculates a driver attribute target value for each vehicle attribute category in a list of vehicle attribute categories based on the driver profile data, and then generates, using the trained neural network, at least one vehicle recommendation based on at least the vehicle attribute data and the driver attribute target values.

  • Publication number: 20160291704
Abstract: A method for processing an input applied by an input object is provided. The method comprises the steps of receiving, from a motion unit, motion data comprising information indicating motion of the motion unit, wherein the motion unit is arranged to co-move with the input object; receiving, from the motion unit, identification information for identifying the motion unit; receiving input data, wherein the input data comprises information indicating characteristics of one or more inputs applied to an input unit; comparing the motion data with the input data; and outputting a signal for controlling processing of the inputs depending on a result of the comparison, and according to the identification information.

  • Publication number: 20060159523
Abstract: Apparatus for providing an enclosure, for example as a housing or to provide buoyancy, at underwater locations is disclosed comprising an inner shell and an outer shell, with a structural filler disposed between the two. The shells are prepared from fibre-reinforced plastic, with the fibres being oriented to provide resistance to both longitudinal and radial stresses induced in the apparatus by the hydrostatic pressure. The filler may be a structural filler comprising structural members extending between the inner and outer shells and occupying less than 60% of the volume of the cavity between the two shells. Alternatively, the filler may be a substantially void-free structural filler, such as a polyester resin. Methods of fabricating the apparatus are disclosed. In addition, a method of deballasting a buoyancy module is disclosed, in which the ballast, for example water, is withdrawn from the module by means of reduced pressure. Apparatus for deballasting is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20050090170
Abstract: A wallcovering that has a moisture permeability of at least about 25 perms is provided by bonding first and second porous fabric sheets by an adhesively effective amount of a fused plastisol. Methods of making the breathable wallcovering and methods of using the breathable wallcovering are also provided.
