  • Patent number: 12121177
Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing a selected volume of water at a specified temperature. The dispenser includes a source of water at an elevated temperature and a source of water at a lower temperature. An electronic controller determines the volume of water needed from each source in order to arrive at the selected volume and temperature. The dispenser uses a recirculation valve to circulate at least the elevated temperature water in the tank and in the outlet in order to ensure the temperature of the water is as expected throughout the system to achieve the specified temperature.

  • Patent number: 11433321
Abstract: Systems and methods for sulfur-compound removal from hydrocarbon liquids may include at least one tank defining a chamber with top and bottom ends, a gas inlet into the chamber, a gas outlet from the chamber, a fluid inlet into the chamber, and a fluid outlet from the chamber. A fluid circulation assembly creates a hydrocarbon liquid flow on a liquid path, and a gas circulation assembly circulates a gas flow along a gas path. The gas inlet and outlet and the fluid inlet and outlet of the tank may be arranged to create a crossflow and counterflow of the liquid and gas flows in the chamber of the tank such that sulfur-containing compounds are transferred from the liquid to the gas flow. A gas processor assembly may remove sulfur-containing compounds from the gas flow before recirculating the gas flow. The gas flow may be predominantly nitrogen (N2) gas.

  • Publication number: 20220107289
Abstract: A method includes receiving data characterizing a speed of an acoustic signal through a gas mixture in a pipe. The speed of the acoustic signal can be detected by an ultrasonic flow meter coupled to the pipe. The method also includes receiving data characterizing a concentration of one or more inert gases in the gas mixture detected by an inert gas analyzer. The method further includes determining, based on the received data characterizing the speed of the acoustic signal and the received data characterizing the concentration of the one or more inert gases in the gas mixture, a net heating value of the gas mixture. The method also includes adjusting a processing of the gas mixture based on the determined net heating value.
