  • Publication number: 20250137425
Abstract: An apparatus may comprise a base member defined by a rectangular aperture configured to receive and engage an automobile intake airbox. The base member may be further defined by a perimeter surrounding the rectangular aperture and having at least one fastener or aperture configured to receive a fastener dimensioned to avoid disturbing the automobile intake airbox. A gooseneck member may be fixedly attached to the base member. The gooseneck member may have a first end opening and a second end opening, with an interior cavity configured to direct air into the automobile intake airbox from the second end opening to the first end opening. An interchangeable bell housing may be removably secured to the second end opening of the gooseneck member. The interchangeable bell housing may have a frustoconical shaped cross section on at least one plane.

  • Patent number: 10364851
Abstract: A power-transmitting device (10) and a method of assembling a power-transmitting device (10) secures and releases driving continuity between driving and driven parts (22, 62) through at least one clutch assembly (26, 66). The power-transmitting device (10) includes an apply plate (36) axially moveable with respect to the clutch assembly (26, 66) for engaging and disengaging the clutch assembly (26, 66). A return spring (34) acting on the apply plate (36) and an apply spring (32) having a higher compression force than the return spring (34) can be located between the apply plate (36) and the clutch assembly (26, 66). A ball (38) can be engageable with a portion of the apply plate (36) for locking the apply plate (36) in engagement with the clutch assembly (26, 66) during a steady state condition and a piston (40) can drive the ball (38) into engagement with the apply plate (36) in response to application of fluid under pressure.

  • Patent number: 10222810
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for in-situ calibration of a flow controller are provided herein. In some embodiments, a method of flowing a gas includes providing a flow controller configured to provide a first gas at a first value of a flow rate based on a calculated first relationship determined by using a standard gas; determining an actual first relationship between the flow rate and the setpoint for the first gas from a plurality of values of the flow rate of the first gas determined at a corresponding plurality of values of the setpoint of the flow controller, wherein each of the plurality of values of the flow rate is determined from flowing the first gas through the flow controller at corresponding ones of the plurality of values for the setpoint; and flowing the first gas at the first value of the flow rate based on the actual first relationship.
