  • Publication number: 20240084953
Abstract: An interlocking outrigger pad support system is provided. The system includes a base pad assembly layer, a support layer, and an upper pad. The base pad assembly layer is formed of a plurality of base pads having alignment features that extend across at least a portion of the upper surface of the plurality of base pads. The support layer is placed on top of the base pad assembly layer and the support layer engages and is held in place by the alignment features of the plurality of base pads. In one or more arrangements, the upper pad has an upper surface and a lower surface, with the lower surface also having an alignment feature. When the upper pad is placed on top of the support layer, the alignment feature of the upper pad engages and is held in place by the support layer.

  • Patent number: 7917536
Abstract: A data storage management system for managing a plurality of remotely located, independent data storage systems includes a central monitoring system and a plurality of agent systems, each in communication with a respective remotely located customer data storage system. Each remote agent system collects data from a respective customer data storage system that relates to the performance/status of the data storage system. Each agent system converts the collected data to a standardized format and then stores the collected data at the central monitoring system. The central monitoring system continuously and automatically monitors activities at the remote data storage systems and, using pattern recognition and data correlation techniques, can predict when system faults are developing at these remote data storage systems. Data storage management experts staffing the command center can initiate corrective action before a customer's data is adversely impacted.

  • Publication number: 20060004830
Abstract: Agent-less data storage management systems, methods and computer program products are provided and include a central data repository, a raw data processor (RDP), a management appliance, and problem identification logic. The RDP collects raw, unformatted metadata directly from remote data storage systems, transforms the collected metadata to a standardized format, and stores the transformed metadata in the central data repository. The RDP collects metadata from remote data storage systems without the use of agents executing at each remote data storage system. The management appliance implements corrective action and configuration changes at each data storage system, and makes configuration changes at each data storage system without the use of agents executing at each remote data storage system. Problem identification logic reviews metadata collected by the RDP, identifies problems at remote data storage systems that require resolution, and initiates corrective action.

  • Patent number: 5546928
Abstract: A stove-mounted grease splatter guard made of a flexible plastic or glass protection portion which attaches to a range via a base portion. The protection portion extends outwardly from the range at an obtuse angle and prevents children from reaching a top surface of the stove. The protection portion also aids in preventing splattering grease from striking the children or reaching the floor on which the stove rests. The base portion is connected to the range with a magnet and hook-and-loop fastener combination.

  • Patent number: 4553970
Abstract: A molded, collapsible container for intravenous solutions characterized by a controlled collapse along major sidewall portions. The container comprises the shoulder portion having a rigid neck; a hanger portion at an end of the container opposite from the neck; a pair of opposed minor sidewall portions, defined by relatively sharply angled edges; and major sidewall portions extending between the minor sidewall portions which collapse upon each other, while the minor sidewall portions remain in relatively fixed relationship and hold the container apart near the edges of the container. The container may also be provided with intermediate sidewall portions angled relative to the major and minor sidewall portions, which serve to provide a larger fluid capacity to the container. A waist portion is also provided which is relatively smaller circumferentially, compared to the rest of the container.

  • Patent number: 4059223
Abstract: Apparatus arrangement and Method for providing pressure relief for the locking ring in the rotor of nozzle type centrifugal machines. The locking ring secures the top cover section to the main body section of the rotor bowl, against the internal compression pressure exerted by the stack of separating discs confined between the top and bottom of the rotor bowl. Pressure relief for the locking ring is provided by absorbing or sustaining said internal pressure by means separate from the locking ring. The locking ring thus being relieved of said pressure and of excessive frictional resistance in the thread, is then turnable easily when assembling or disassembling the rotor bowl.
