Abstract: A method for controlling a sex toy of a model user is disclosed. The method includes controlling a first control node to establish a communication connection with a livestreaming platform, generating a control instruction for the sex toy of the model user in response to an interactive event initiated by a viewer user of the livestreaming platform toward the model user, and controlling the first control node to obtain a network resource identifier of a second control node. The first control node and the second control node are both located within a same data transmission network, and the same data transmission network is configured to allow the first control node and the second control node to transmit data via peer-to-peer communication. The second control node establishes a communication link, which is wired or wireless, with a control module embedded in the sex toy of the model user.
