Abstract: A technology is described for a language learning tool. An example method may include obtaining a user profile from a data store in response to a request to provide text used to study a target language. Target language words recognized by the user that correspond with a source language words included in the text may then be identified from the user profile. Instances of the source language words may then be replaced in the text with the target language words identified from the user profile and the text may be provided to a client device. A selection of a displayed word may be received from the client device, whereupon a corresponding word in either the source language or the target language may be identified to replace the displayed word in the text displayed on the client device.
