  • Publication number: 20170118912
Abstract: A lawnmower uses thin, replaceable blades with a hardened cutting edge and a cross-section defining an airfoil retained in cartridges that are inserted and removed from rotors in a blade assembly at need. The cartridges comprise a blade and rotor interlocking elements affixed to the blade, each rotor interlocking element corresponding to one rotor in the blade assembly. Each rotor and rotor interlocking element includes features that allow the two to be securely engages so that the rotors may be spun quickly in a mower blade assembly to cut grass.

  • Patent number: 7393879
Abstract: A method for producing a novel silicone foam by reaction of a polyisocyanate with a silicone oligomer having a plurality of functional end groups with active hydrogens, optionally in the presence of fire-retardants, under foam forming conditions which creates a new silicone foam for use in items such as residential upholstered furniture industry, seat cushions and bedding etc., and specifically for use in applications that require, high resilience and fire-retardant properties such as aircraft and surface transportation seat cushioning, military and shipboard mattresses etc.

  • Patent number: 6570562
Abstract: A method for rendering patterned lines in an environment that need not support rendering of patterned lines through a standard viewing mechanism, but that does support the rendering of graphical primitives in an off-screen imaging area. A solid line is rendered in the off-screen imaging area that has been filled with a background color by turning the pixels corresponding to the solid line from the background color to a line color. A pattern is next applied to the solid line to render a patterned line by use of a filtering mechanism that filters out pixels that correspond to off-segments of the pattern. The patterned line is next transferred from the off-screen imaging area to a viewing device where it is displayed.

  • Patent number: 6263850
Abstract: An integrated intake module (10; 100; 200) for an internal combustion engine (22) has an air box (14) that encloses an internal space and contains a particulate filter (24) that separates a clean air space (26) from a dirty air space (28). A throttle body assembly (16) receives clean air from the air box and delivers the air to a plenum (18). Runners (20) that have respective inlets at which clean air from the plenum enters extend lengthwise to respective outlets for delivering clean air to cylinders of the engine. At least a portion of the length of each runner is disposed on the air box wall about the dirty air space.

  • Patent number: 5290598
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a process for a coating composition for application at extremely high pressures under conditions which significantly reduce the amount of volatile organic materials which are given off during the spray process. Preferably, the coating composition is based upon a plasticizer wet nitrocellulose lacquer. The composition is utilized in a spray process involving the filling of a spray pump receptacle with the coating wherein the spray pump is operated at pressures above about 2,750 psi and wherein the pump is provided with a temperature control means for assuring that the temperature of the pumped coating is in the range of about 65.degree. F. to 150.degree. F. so that the viscosity of the pumped coating is maintained in the range of about 250 to about 1,000 cps. The resulting coatings may be applied as a top coat, sealer, lacquer, etc. to any desired substrate, although wood is preferred, with the resulting finished coating being equal or superior to existing coating compositions.
