  • Publication number: 20240115455
Abstract: A mobility device configurable in a first walk configuration and a second stair-climb configuration, including a frame with movable front leg portions, a leg-actuation system connected to the front leg portions and a safety-control device mounted to the frame. The safety-control device includes a configuration selector, and a lever connected to the leg-actuation system and configured to actuate the cable actuation system so as to cause the first and second movable leg portions to move from a first position to a second position. The lever remains locked in a first lever position such that the lever cannot be moved unless the configuration selector is in a depressed position, thereby preventing inadvertent movement of the leg portion.

  • Patent number: 10036609
Abstract: The firearm grip includes a front section having a width forming a connection assembly that includes a slot positioned between a pair of laterally extending guides. The connection assembly has a size and shape for select removable coupling with a portion of a firearm. The firearm grip also includes a handle extending rearwardly relative to the front section and includes an upper palm receiving edge positioned above an opening of a trigger guard of the firearm when the firearm grip is selectively coupled thereto. The handle has a thickness relatively thinner than the width of the front section. Moreover, a tapered transition positioned between the front section and the handle generally decreases the width of the front section to the relatively thinner thickness of the handle.

  • Publication number: 20140220508
Abstract: A dental protocol for creating an osteotomy for an implant is disclosed. A first drill is selected having a tip to create a pilot hole in the bone surface of a patient. The first drill includes a first boring section to create a bore hole for a second drill and a second boring section to create a coronal area on the hole near the bone surface. A first drill hole is created on the bone surface having a depth compatible with the length of the implant with the first drill and a coronal area. A second drill for creating a second hole having a width compatible with the body of the implant is selected. A second drill hole is created on the bone surface with the second drill.

  • Publication number: 20120293329
Abstract: The present invention is an alarm system that includes at least one base unit operable to detect sound levels and to transmit a signal to cause an alarm response, such as emission of media that may be the sound of one or more dog barks. The media may be emitted through one or more applicable broadcasting device, such as through a speaker, and may be the sound of one or more dog barks. The broadcasting device and base units may be configured to function collectively to create a realistic deterrent effect. Other alarm responses may be part of the system, such as electronic device warning messages, turning on a light, etc. The alarm responses and the general operation of the system may be set by a user, either through the base unit or by other remote input means (e.g., a fob unit or other electronic device).
