Abstract: A fishing pole holder suitable for use with a conventional pole and reel, but secured into ice is contemplated to provide deep securement of the holder into the ice, and self stabilizing by the holder against the ice. The holder may actually work in other materials, such as logs and earth, but may be sized and shaped to be particularly well adapted to securement into ice. The handle for turning the shaft may eventually come to rest on the ice to stabilize the holder and fishing pole handle disposed therein.
