  • Publication number: 20230010904
Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods and systems for identifying or verifying trip information. A method for identifying or verifying a trip of a vehicle comprises detecting a presence of the vehicle with a mobile computing device of a user. The mobile computing device may be removable from the vehicle. Next, a trip start may be determined when the vehicle is detected by the mobile computing device as being present. Trip data may be recorded for a trip of the vehicle subsequent to the trip start, the trip data being based at least in part on sensor readings. A trip end that corresponds to an end of the trip of the vehicle may be detected and verified.

  • Patent number: 11218203
Abstract: Technologies directed to coordinated dynamic analog beamforming are described. One method includes receiving, by a digital controller of a first wireless device, a data packet, the data packet comprising a destination address of a second wireless device. The method further includes retrieving, from memory, beamformer configuration data associated with the destination address, the beamformer configuration data comprising a phase shifter angle value for a radiation pattern. The method sends, to a beamformer circuit, the phase shifter angle value, the beamformer circuit comprises a power splitter and a set of phase shifters (e.g., at least four). The method causes the set of phase shifters to steer the radiation pattern of electromagnetic energy, radiated by an antenna array of elements, at the phase shifter angle value and sends the data packet to the second wireless device via the antenna array.

  • Patent number: 10120968
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to defining and processing hardware description language (HDL) groups. Embodiments may include mapping, using a processor, a set of tool-specific objects into a group graph with one or more groups. Embodiments may also include generating a search order associated with each group. The search order associated with each group may be based upon the hierarchical design configuration of the group graph. Embodiments may further include identifying undefined references from within a first group within the group graph and binding defined references from within the first group to electronic circuit design components. Embodiments may include identifying the undefined references from within a second group within the group graph. The second group may be selected based upon the undefined references and the search order associated with the first group.

  • Patent number: 10036639
Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods and systems for determined a route or distance traveled of a vehicle. A computer-implemented method for determining a route of a vehicle during a trip comprises obtaining sensor information from a vehicle and obtaining position information from the vehicle using a global positioning system (GPS) component. Next, a route of the vehicle may be determined based at least in part on the position information and route information provided by a user onboard the vehicle during the trip. For portions of the trip in which the GPS component is not available or accurate, at least a portion of a corresponding route segment may be determined using the sensor information without the position information.

  • Patent number: 9747631
Abstract: Techniques for purchasing products from a retail establishment using a mobile device allow a user to transact a purchase of physical products within a retail establishment site, without need for significant interaction with personnel of the retail establishment to transact the purchase. The user may install a software application on the mobile device to communicate with a purchase facilitating server. An image acquisition component of the mobile device may be used to obtain an image of indicia, such as a bar code, on a product to be purchased within the retail establishment. Image recognition may be performed on the indicia to identify the product to be purchased, the user may submit payment information via the mobile device, and the purchase facilitating server may transact the user's purchase of the product. The purchase facilitating server may transmit a purchase confirmation to the mobile device as a receipt of the user's purchase.
