  • Publication number: 20240139321
Abstract: A modified immune effector cell may be one in which the functions of a T cell antigen receptor (TCR) and major histocompatibility complexes (MHCI, MHCII) in the modified immune effector cell are inhibited in a T cell. Such a modified immune effector cell may include a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) targeting GD2. Such a modified immune effector cell may knock out TCR and HLA-A genes expressed by the cell while recognizing surface antigens of tumor cells, so that multiple effects of improving the anti-tumor effect of CAR-T cells, prolonging the survival time of the cells, and reducing the immune rejection response caused by allogeneic cell therapy may be reduced.

  • Patent number: 9642116
Abstract: A method and system determines an absolute Multicast-Broadcast Single Frequency Network (MBSFN) configuration based on a threshold. First saved radio resources and first wasted radio resources are calculated. The absolute MBSFN configuration is set as the final MBSFN configuration when the first saved radio resources are greater than or equal to the first wasted radio resources. When untrue, the absolute MBSFN configuration plus an adjacent cell pool is set as the final MBSFN configuration based on the final MBSFN configuration achieving a maximum value of second saved radio resources minus second wasted radio resources. When both of these conditions are untrue, the absolute MBSFN configuration minus an MBSFN cell pool is set as the final MBSFN configuration based on the final MBSFN configuration achieving a maximum value of third saved radio resources minus third wasted radio resources.

  • Patent number: 8570885
Abstract: A technique for managing uplink feedback involves establishing a channel quality threshold range, for example, in terms of a channel quality indicator (CQI), broadcasting the channel quality threshold range to the mobile stations and using the channel quality threshold range to control the feedback of channel quality information. For example, the mobile stations determine their own mobile station-specific CQI and then generate CQI feedback information in response to a comparison between their own mobile station-specific CQI and the CQI threshold range. In an embodiment, if the CQI of a mobile station falls within the CQI threshold range, then the mobile station can transmit a reduced set of CQI feedback information. For example, the reduced set of CQI feedback information may be a single bit that indicates whether the mobile station-specific CQI is greater than or less than a CQI threshold or whether the CQI has crossed a CQI threshold.

  • Publication number: 20110166917
Abstract: An ad token apparatus for managing a user credit account in a multimedia broadcasting system. The ad token apparatus includes a token embedder, a token cache, and a token verifier. The token embedder embeds a token in a digital advertisement stream to generate a token-embedded ad. The token includes an identifiable sequence of data of a predetermined length. The token cache stores the token and receives a detected token from the user device in response to detection of the token in the token-embedded ad by the user device. The token verifier adds at least one credit to a user credit account in response to receipt of the detected token. The user credit account corresponds to the user device.

  • Publication number: 20100311434
Abstract: In ad hoc enabled cellular systems, the terminals in ad hoc communications (1-16) may generate serious interference to the terminals in conventional communications (C1-C7). The possible interference to be generated from the ad hoc mobile terminals to the conventional terminals is estimated, so that the ad hoc mobile terminals can select the proper radio resource for the sake of interference avoidance. The ad hoc mobile terminals may perform interference estimation in three steps: parameter collection (4-1, 4-2, 4-3), parameter calculation (4-5) and then decision making with the comparison of the calculated result and a predefined threshold (4-6). The whole process is easy to implement and can guarantee quality of conventional communication while maintaining high spectrum efficiency.

  • Patent number: 7831252
Abstract: A method to be executed by a UE (user equipment) is proposed, for said UE in P2P communication mode to perform cell handover, comprising steps of: detecting downlink signals of the active cell in which said UE is camping and its adjacent cells (S205); judging whether there exists a suitable cell whose link performance is a predefined value higher than that of said active cell (S209), according to the detecting result; sending a detection report message to a network system (S210) to start a judging procedure of said network system if there exists said suitable cell, and said judging procedure deciding whether said UE and another UE in P2P communication can handover into said suitable cell to continue P2P communication.
