Abstract: An example of a biotin-streptavidin cleavage composition includes a formamide reagent and a salt buffer. The formamide reagent is present in the biotin-streptavidin cleavage composition in an amount ranging from about 10% to about 50%, based on a total volume of the biotin-streptavidin cleavage composition. The salt buffer makes up the balance of the biotin-streptavidin cleavage composition. In some examples, the biotin-streptavidin cleavage composition is used to cleave library fragments from a solid support. In other examples, other mechanisms are used to cleave library fragments from a solid support.

  • Publication number: 20250115165
Abstract: An electrical apparatus and a method for controlling heating thereof are disclosed. Before detecting a mobile electrical apparatus is in operation, the electrical apparatus may first receive input for a driving heating mode selected by a user. The driving heating mode corresponds to an enablement of a heating function is allowed or an enablement of a heating function is to be allowed. Thus, the battery heating function may be enabled or disabled according to the operating parameters of the battery and the motor based on the current driving heating mode. Further, a heating mode that matches the electrical apparatus may be selected based on usage habits and the current driving environment of the electrical apparatus for heating the battery. Further, the example methods avoid ineffective heating increased by manually controlling a battery self-healing function and the resulting high energy consumption in related technologies.

  • Publication number: 20250114628
Abstract: The photobiomodulation apparatus (and method of use) of the present invention comprises one or more light sources which are integrated into a transparent flexible mouthpiece housing containing a semi rigid support member for providing photobiomodulation therapy to the oral mucosa of a cancer patient suffering from, or at risk of, Oral Mucositis. The light sources can be either internal, or external to the transparent flexible mouthpiece housing, and either lasers, light emitting diodes (LEDs), lamps, or any other types of light sources which produce therapeutic light in a desired wavelength range. The therapeutic light is delivered through the transparent flexible mouthpiece housing to the oral mucosa. The delivered light produces a photochemical and photophysical process e.g. increase the blood flow and circulation. This photochemical and photophysical process helps to reduce the incidence and severity of oral mucositis in cancer patients and helps improve outcomes of cancer therapy.

  • Publication number: 20250117200
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed to develop and use a tool to enable an application package to be instrumented with automatic real user monitoring (RUM) without accessing the original source code. A package, such as Android application bundle (AAB) or Android package kit (APK), is imported and decoded and a generated source code file and/or manifest is obtained. Instrumentation is then added at a location corresponding to a code signature in the generated source code file (e.g., an operation to be instrumented before and/or after the operation). The generated source code file is then compiled and packaged into an APK and/or AAB file. The resulting application package is available for downloading, installation, and use on user devices with the instrumentation having been automatically added and without access to the original source code.
