  • Publication number: 20230308446
Abstract: A method may include detecting, at a first client device engaged in a web conference session with a second client device, a selection of a user interface element associated with a first input mode in which at least a portion of content captured at the first client device is excluded from being shared with the second client device. In response to the selection of the user interface element, the first input mode may be activated at the first client device by disabling multiple input devices associated with the first client device such that at least the portion of the content captured at the first client device is excluded from being shared with the second client device. Meanwhile, when a second input node is activated at the first client device, the content captured at the first client device may be shared with the second client device without restrictions.

  • Publication number: 20210126907
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and computer-readable media for providing a content protection service in electronic messaging systems are described herein. The content protection service may be engaged by an electronic messaging sending device by receiving a protection action. Or it may be engaged by an electronic messaging server by checking a protection policy. The content protection service may be engaged to alias, and/or conceal an original content item. When aliasing, a modified electronic message content comprises aliased content and omits the original content. When concealing, a modified electronic message content comprises a concealment and omits the original content. When aliasing and concealing, a modified electronic message content comprises a concealment and omits both the aliased and original contents.

  • Publication number: 20110076694
Abstract: A method of assessing the health of each oocyte or embryo of a mammal from a plurality of oocytes/embryos of the mammal is provided. The method comprises the steps of: measuring gap junctional coupling strength or connexin43 expression of follicular cells associated with each oocyte; and identifying the gap junctional coupling strength/connexin43 expression of follicular cells associated with each oocyte, wherein the greater the coupling strength/connexin43 expression of follicular cells associated with an oocyte relative to the coupling strength/connexin43 expression of follicular cells associated with each other oocyte, the healthier the oocyte and the embryo resulting from that oocyte. Kits for conducting these methods are also provided.

  • Patent number: 6914189
Abstract: An auxiliary electronic card includes a card base member formed of a first material. The card base member has at least one electronic device mounted on the card base member. The card base member has a plurality of electrical edge contacts formed along an edge of a top surface of the card base member. The electrical edge contacts define a horizontal plane with respective upper surfaces of the electrical edge contacts. The electronic card also includes an edge shield member mounted at a vertical surface of the card base member at the edge of the card base member along which the contacts are formed. The edge shield member has a substantially horizontal upward-facing surface at an elevation that is no lower than the horizontal plane defined by the upper surfaces of the electrical edge contacts. The edge shield member is formed of a second material that has a coefficient of friction that is lower than a coefficient of friction of the first material.
