  • Patent number: 11566442
Abstract: A strike plate mounting bolt assembly for resiliently mounting a strike plate to a door. The strike plate mounting bolt assembly includes a bolt and a post wherein the bolt is securably engageable with the post. The bolt is inserted through a bore in the door and the post is inserted through a bore in the strike plate. A resilient member such as at least one Belleville washer is disposed between a head of the post and a cavity in the strike plate wherein the at least one Belleville washer is compressed between the post head and cavity upon securing the bolt and post together to provide a resilient mount between the door and strike plate. The at least one Belleville washer may be a number of Belleville washers selectable stacked to form a pack of Belleville washers. By varying the number and orientation of the Belleville washers, the force/deflection characteristics of the pack may be tuned to accommodate the needs of a variety of electromagnetic lock design features.

  • Publication number: 20170272833
Abstract: A recently-viewed stack of session objects is formed, corresponding to assets recently played on consumer premises equipment in a video content network. The session objects include linear session objects corresponding to linear ones of the assets and non-linear session objects corresponding to non-linear ones of the assets. A user selection to resume playing one of the non-linear assets is obtained (e.g., from a channel surfer application). Responsive to the user selection, a switch is made from a currently viewed program to the aforementioned one of the non-linear assets.

  • Patent number: 9446578
Abstract: A method of flexographically printing a uniform pattern on a substrate where the ink deposited on the substrate is deposited in the intended location and not in unintended locations. A flexo-master comprises a pattern formed by a plurality of lines including at least one junction, and printing the pattern including the at least one junction in ink on a substrate forming a printed pattern, wherein the printed junction has a different shape than the at least one junction on the flexo-master. In addition to the junction formation, a discontinuous line on the flexo-master may be used to print a continuous line, a single line may be used to print two lines, and two or more lines may be used to print a single line. The flexo-master pattern lines may additionally have a fill pattern comprising various geometries that are used to uniformly print the pattern on the substrate.

  • Publication number: 20150023052
Abstract: A multi-display system includes a single, two-sided backlight assembly between the display panels. The two-sided backlight assembly is able to emit light in two light paths generally 180 degrees apart—one light path passes through one of the display panels and another light pass through the other of the display panels. That is, the two-sided light guide assembly emits light out two sides and generally in opposite directions. The two-sided backlight assembly uses lights such as light emitting diodes (LEDs) mounted on the side of a light guide thereby permitting the backlight assembly to be relatively thin. Because a single, thin, two-sided backlight assembly is used, the overall depth of the multi-display system is less than would be the case if two separate backlight assemblies were used.

  • Patent number: 7982868
Abstract: A method for detecting one or more foreign substances in one or more containers filled with liquid, comprising of: transporting the containers filled with liquid in a substantially straight line at relatively high speed in a production environment; —illuminating each container with content with one or more fixedly disposed light sources; and —inspecting the container with content from preferably two or more different orientations using two or more cameras, wherein cameras and lighting are disposed substantially fixedly relative to each other, while the cameras and light sources are mutually connected such that in a short time two or more images of a container filled with liquid can be recorded with mutually differing illumination and/or angle of incidence; —comparing the foreign substances in the two or more images; and —wherein a container filled with liquid is rejected on the basis of the probability distribution obtained from the comparisons, wherein above a determined probability it is concluded that the

  • Publication number: 20110140010
Abstract: Method for detecting an undesired object or flaw in relation to a background, wherein radiation with a first characteristic is cast by a first radiation source onto and close to the background and the location where the undesired object or flaw is to be expected, wherein radiation generated by the radiation source and reflected, dispersed, diffracted or transmitted by the undesired object is sensed by one or more radiation sensors, and wherein radiation is cast onto the location by a second radiation source with a second characteristic, which is disposed and/or has a second radiation characteristic such that apparent flaws can be removed relatively easily from the image signal sensed by the sensors.
