  • Patent number: 12382327
Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a first UE determines a set of resources for transmission of one or more sidelink PRSs. The first UE transmits a sidelink control message to reserve the set of resources for the transmission of the one or more sidelink PRSs. In another aspect, the second UE may receive the sidelink control message, and may (e.g., transmit and/or receive/measure) the one or more PRSs in accordance with the sidelink control message. In another aspect, a third UE may receive the sidelink control message, and may determine whether a transmission by the third UE on some or all of the set of resources is permitted based on the sidelink control message.

  • Publication number: 20250240605
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and techniques for wireless communications. For example, a network entity can receive, from first network devices, first sensor sharing messages including sensor information. Each first sensor sharing message includes respective sensor information associated with object(s) detected in a respective sensing range of each first network device of the first network devices. The network entity can combine the respective sensor information from the first sensor sharing messages to generate combined sensor information. The network entity can determine second network device(s) for receiving the combined sensor information based on the combined sensor information and a respective distance of each second network device of the second network device(s) from the object(s). The network entity can output, for transmission to at least one of the second network device(s) or another network entity, a second sensor sharing message including the combined sensor information.

  • Patent number: 12335900
Abstract: Sidelink (SL) positioning of user equipments (UEs) is supported by providing with SL positioning reference signals (PRS) an indication of the identity of the SL positioning session and the SL PRS source identifier. A UE may transmit a payload-based indication or a sequence-based indication of the identity of the SL positioning session and the source identifier. The pay-load based indication is included in, e.g., a Layer 1 (L1) and/or Layer 2 (L2) control message associated with the SL PRS. The sequence-based indication may be generated using the indication of the identity of the SL positioning session and the source identifier to initialize or seed the generation of the PRS sequence, scramble the PRS sequence, or generate a cover code that is applied to the PRS sequence.
