A processor is configured to perform an algorithm to derive complex-valued samples and angle measurements from each receiver to identify one object from another object. The processor further extracts signal waveforms that correspond to each object and process the extracted signal waveforms to estimate breathing rate and heart rate of the identified object.

    Abstract: A matrix compression/decompression accelerator (MCA) system/method that coordinates lossless data compression (LDC) and lossless data decompression (LDD) transfers between an external data memory (EDM) and a local data memory (LDM) is disclosed. The system implements LDC using a 2D-to-1D transformation of 2D uncompressed data blocks (2DU) within LDM to generate 1D uncompressed data blocks (1DU). The 1DU is then compressed to generate a 1D compressed superblock (CSB) in LDM. This LDM CSB may then be written to EDM with a reduced number of EDM bus cycles. The system implements LDD using decompression of CSB data retrieved from EDM to generate a 1D decompressed data block (1DD) in LDM. A 1D-to-2D transformation is then applied to the LDM 1DD to generate a 2D decompressed data block (2DD) in LDM. This 2DD may then be operated on by a matrix compute engine (MCE) using a variety of function operators.

The preparation of the patterned phase-delay film can be implemented by a two-step polymerization process including UV-polymerization and heat-polymerization. The process is simple and the costs are low.

    Abstract: A curved display panel, a curved display device, and a method for fabricating the same are disclosed. Both the light output face and the light input face of the curved display panel are continuous curved surfaces. The curved display panel with a continuous curved surface has a bending degree which is closer to the natural bending degree of a liquid crystal panel, so that a relatively small stress is generated on the curved display panel, and the problem of serious peripheral light leakage caused by deformation of the curved display panel is alleviated. Besides, since the curvature radius of each point on the continuous curved surface changes slowly, the problem of serious peripheral light leakage caused by deformation of the curved display panel is alleviated, the complexity of the fabricating process is reduced, the fabricating process is simplified, and the production of the product is improved.

    Abstract: The disclosure in some aspects relates to recombinant adeno-associated viruses having nuclease grafted to one or more capsid proteins. In some aspects, the disclosure relates to isolated AAV capsid proteins having terminally grafted nucleases and isolated nucleic acids encoding the same.     Abstract: The present disclosure describes a genetically engineered a KASIII-independent fatty acid biosynthetic pathway that makes use of the promiscuous nature of the rest of the FAS enzymes (3-ketoacyl-ACP synthetase, 3-ketoacyl-ACP reductase, 3-hydroxyacyl ACP dehydrase, enoyl-ACP reductase) to bypass the KASIII step by providing a Co-A precursor of two or higher than two carbons (such as the four carbon butyryl-CoA) as the starting molecule. Since many CoA-based starter molecules can be supplied for the fatty acid synthesis, much more diversified products can be obtained with various carbon-chain lengths. As such, this disclosure will serve as a powerful and efficient platform to produce low to medium chain length products carrying many different functional groups.
