  • Publication number: 20140088945
Abstract: Implementations of the present disclosure involve a system and/or method for analyzing the energy efficiency of a building. The system receives a set of data points from a building automation system operating to control various aspects of the building. The data points each corresponds to an environmental condition of the building. Each data point is associated with a variable that represents the represents a type of information conveyed by the data point. Variables are then mapped to component models that represent the physical components of the building. A formula is then selected for evaluating the operation of one or more physical components. Building problems are then diagnosed by evaluating the formula using the data points.

  • Publication number: 20070038949
Abstract: A user interface is provided that enables a user to view, navigate and perform actions on an online document. The user interface is represented as a sliding window which appears to move smoothly across the document text. The sliding window, from herein referred to as the copyholder, moves across the document to locations in the document text that are defined by the underlying document. The copyholder size is determined by the underlying document, it can expand the width of the document text and the length of an active section or it can appear as a clip attached to the edge of the document. The copyholder contains an action bar with icons representing actions that can be performed on the document text. The current location of the copyholder in a document is saved when the document is closed. The copyholder will move to the saved location in the document text when the document is resumed and display the copyholder around the active document text.

  • Publication number: 20060282441
Abstract: A procedure management system and methods for its operation are disclosed. The methods disclosed include the ability to capture procedure definitions in the system, to improve on the procedure content by associating feedback and comments with the procedure definitions, and to store these procedure definitions in a database. Additional disclosures include the ability to display and interactively use the procedures, to track and record status of each step outcome of the procedure and to suspend and later resume a procedure run. In addition, methods are disclosed that enable the user of a procedure to be notified of any changes that have occurred in a procedure definition since it was last used. Other embodiments include methods that allow users to audit the procedure definition and outcome information. In addition, a procedure authoring tool is disclosed, which enables version tracking of procedure definitions and tracks what has changed between each version.
