  • Publication number: 20240017604
Abstract: A modular battery housing is provided for mounting at least one of a plurality of battery modules to an electric vehicle. Each of the battery modules includes a battery module case and one or more battery cells disposed within the battery module case. The modular battery housing includes a frame coupleable to the electric vehicle. The frame includes a pair of rails spaced apart from one another and a plurality of cross members coupleable to the rails. The modular battery housing further includes one or more battery pack enclosures separate from and coupleable to the frame. Each of the battery pack enclosures defines a chamber for sealingly containing at least one of the battery modules, and each of the battery pack enclosures being separate from the battery module case.

  • Publication number: 20110139618
Abstract: Ceramic exhaust gas sensors are disclosed that offer enhanced dimensional stability during curing, with reduced occurrence of deformations like bending or warping, and can be used in a variety of exhaust gas component sensing applications. The sensors of the invention utilize appropriate selection and orientation of the various layers of green ceramic tape that make up the sensor structure to provide enhanced dimensional stability.

  • Patent number: 5625156
Abstract: An apparatus for sensing exhaust gas comprising: first and second tubular passages; a solid plug through which the first and second tubular passages pass and to which the tubular passages are sealingly engaged; a sampling chamber mounted to and in flow contact with the first and second tubular passages, wherein the first tubular passage provides gas flow into the sampling chamber and the second tubular passage takes gas flow out of the sampling chamber; and a flow passage having a tubular wall with an opening therein to which the solid plug is sealingly engaged, wherein the first and second tubular passages extend from inside the flow passage, through the plug, to the sampling chamber mounted outside of the flow passage.
