Abstract: A system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program and a computer-implemented method for simulating the fit of a particular garment on a user using a fit simulation garment. The fit simulation garment is wearable by a user and comprises a plurality of actuators configured to simulate tightness of regions of the particular garment. The method includes receiving a garment fit model defining the fit of the particular garment on the user. The method further includes parsing the garment fit model to generate control data for controlling the fit simulation garment, and transmitting the control data to the fit simulation garment to cause the plurality of actuators to collectively simulate the fit of the particular garment on the user.

The conditional authorization can include a printing specification or limitation. The at least one module pre-verifies, for structural integrity once printed by the 3D printer or printing service, a digital model on which the 3D object is based. In response to a received conditional authorization, the at least one module transmits instructions to the 3D printer or printing service to print the 3D object.

Triggering events may be defined in terms of sensor data. The triggering event may be defined by a user or through machine learning. The order may be placed using a predetermined modality or a dynamically-determined modality based on one or more criteria, such as price, shipping speed, and the urgency of the order.

Abstract: A system and method for a handshake authenticated coded locked container are provided. In example embodiments, a digitally encoded lock mechanism that is used by a sender to lock a container before shipping is determined. An access key is received from the recipient that receives the container. An authentication process is performed that determines whether the access key triggers the unlocking of the container. Based on a determination that the access key triggers the unlocking of the container, instructions are provided to unlock the container.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for facilitating efficient shopping for a user. A real or virtual shopping cart can be pre-filled for a user before the user arrives at a merchant location. The shopping cart can be pre-filled with items that are based on the user's previous behavior and/or purchases. The items can include repeat purchase items that the user has repeatedly purchased at the merchant and is likely to purchase again. The system may generate smart shopping lists that can be used to pre-fill the shopping cart. The smart shopping list may include user selected items, repeat purchase items, predicted items for the user, and/or merchant recommended items. The items can be provided in corresponding sections of the shopping cart. The system can also offer to deliver the items to the user and to pick up and deliver additional items along a delivery route for the user.

User loyalty accounts may be credited with the estimated amounts of time saved for transactions. Estimated amounts of time saved may be displayed to users, which may encourage additional purchases to be made via a web site or service that supports estimation of time savings for transactions.

Abstract: Systems and methods to personalize delivery choices are described. A buyer may make a delivery request; the delivery request may include transaction information. Available delivery choices may be identified based on the transaction information. Delivery analytics data associated with the transaction information may be retrieved from at least one application server. Personalized delivery choices from the identified available delivery choices may be determined based on an analysis of the delivery analytics data. The buyer may be recommended the personalized delivery choices.

Abstract: Embodiments for obtaining size and brand information for a plurality of descriptors that include item types and that are associated with user profiles. The descriptors, size, and brand information are obtained by crowdsourcing and by data mining transaction data. Low confidence machine learned data may be boosted by crowdsourcing through targeted questions. Co-occurrences among descriptors are determined and categorized. Signal strength and confidence scores are calculated for the co-occurrences. Relationships between sizes and brands for the item types are calculated and confidence factors for the relationships are calculated.
