The kit includes a drop-in component mounting plate on which are mounted an LED light source, sensors including a thermal sensor, a control unit, a DC power supply, a heat sink, and a dimmer unit. A wired or wireless transceiver allows the LED light units to operate as a network, with two way flow of information from the LED light units to a control unit.
