  • Publication number: 20230224292
Abstract: In some examples, a cloud-based management system receives information identifying electronic devices to be onboarded for cloud-based management by the cloud-based management system, receives, from a first electronic device, a request to establish a secure connection between the cloud-based management system and the first electronic device, and receives, from the first electronic device, a certificate. The cloud-based management system confirms, based on information in the certificate and the information identifying the electronic devices to be onboarded for cloud-based management, that the cloud-based management system is to perform the cloud-based management of the first electronic device over the secure connection.

  • Patent number: 11659009
Abstract: Disclosed in some examples, are methods, systems, and machine-readable mediums for identifying security vulnerabilities across a plurality of access control policies. An administrator of the computing resource may be alerted to these vulnerabilities to allow the administrator to craft a policy, or modify an existing policy, to close these security gaps. In other examples, the system may automatically suggest and/or apply a modification to an existing policy or a new access control policy that closes the security gaps. The vulnerabilities may be determined based upon a comparison of the access control policy criteria in the previously set access control policies and a set of possible values of access control signals to determine access scenarios that are not covered by the access control policies.

  • Patent number: 11613782
Abstract: The invention provides a gene signature for use in determining a likelihood of a latent tuberculosis (TB) infection in a subject transitioning to active TB disease. The gene signature comprises at least SEPT4 and BLK, and optionally also GAS6 and/or CD1C. Expression levels of these genes are detected in a sample from the subject, and the ratios of expression of at least two of the above genes are calculated (e.g. SEPT4:BLK, SEPT4:CD1C, GAS6:BLK and/or GAS6:CD1C). A score is assigned to each ratio, the score being indicative of the likelihood of the latent TB infection transitioning into active TB disease, based on the ratio for the respective gene pair. The subject can be identified as having a latent TB infection that is likely to transition into active TB disease or that is not likely to transition into active TB disease based on the score or on the average of the scores.
