  • Publication number: 20220319427
Abstract: What is disclosed are methods of non-uniformity compensation for active matrix light emitting diode device (AMOLED) and other emissive displays. For each pixel, greyscale level offsets for a number of predetermined greyscale drive levels which produce a uniform flat field are determined and used to generate a correction function for the pixel.

  • Patent number: 11126785
Abstract: An optimal combination of content items may be determined and served to increase the likelihood of a predefined user interaction. A user can request content which may include an entity (such as a web page, document, advertisement, and the like) that has multiple components through which content items may be provided. For example, a web page may include multiple slots where content items may be displayed on the web page. Each component may be associated with multiple possible content items, resulting in many combinations of layouts for an entity. A content server may determine which layout to provide using a content selection model that is weighted based on a likelihood of groupings of content items resulting in a user interaction that satisfies a success condition (e.g., selecting a hyperlink, selecting a content item, initiating a transaction, etc.).

  • Patent number: 10785111
Abstract: A method for monitoring tunneled Internet Protocol (IP) traffic in a communication network includes monitoring tunnel signaling flows to determine relationships between tunnels and subscriber sessions for each established tunnel. A first tunnel signaling state is stored in a data repository for each established tunnel. The first tunnel signaling state is indicative of the determined relationship between the tunnel and corresponding subscriber sessions. A second tunnel signaling state is validated based on the stored first tunnel signaling state to identify incorrect association between a monitored tunnel and corresponding subscriber session, in response to detecting a monitoring gap.

  • Patent number: 10754912
Abstract: Representative embodiments disclose mechanisms to improve the perceived responsiveness of a search engine. As a user types a query prefix into a browser or other interface to the search engine, the search engine returns query completion suggestions to the browser. The query completion suggestions, user history, user favorites and/or other information are presented to a trained machine learning model on the client device to predict a desired location that the user is attempting to navigate to. When the confidence level of the predicted location surpasses a threshold, content from the desired location is preloaded into a hidden tab in the browser. When the user submits a query, the browser submits feedback to a system responsible for updating and refining the machine learning model. Updated machine learning model coefficients can be received by the browser from the system to make predictions more accurate.

  • Publication number: 20200158478
Abstract: A concealed amalgamated neutralizer device covertly combines neutralizer material of inert materials such as calcium carbonate or silicates with common energetic material for the prevention of malicious use of the energetic material. The concealed amalgamated neutralizer device may vary in shape, size, and color and is therefore adaptable to varying methods of containment. The neutralizer material mimics the energetic material without detection. Upon disassembly of the concealed amalgamated neutralizer device, the neutralizer material is mixed with and neutralizes the energetic material rendering the energetic material useless. A container is provided which has a bottom section having an interior surface including a plurality of integrally formed recesses that are filled with the energetic material which allow manipulation of flash direction and intensity upon detonation.

  • Publication number: 20190346242
Abstract: A concealed amalgamated neutralizer covertly combines neutralizer material comprised of various combinations of inert materials such as calcium carbonate or silicates with common explosive material for the prevention of malicious use of the explosive material in improvised explosive devices. The concealed amalgamated neutralizer device may vary in shape, size, and color and is therefore adaptable to varying methods of containment typified by common pyrotechnic products. The neutralizer material mimics the explosive material of the pyrotechnic products without detection. Upon disassembly of a concealed amalgamated neutralizer device, the neutralizer material is mixed with and neutralizes the explosive material rendering the explosive material useless as a component for an improvised explosive device. A biodegradable container is also provided for the amalgamated neutralizer and the explosive material.

  • Patent number: 9976754
Abstract: Provided is a backguard panel for an appliance with an integrated front-mounted proud-glass control unit. An opening is defined within the front wall of the backguard panel has for receiving the control unit. A recessed seat, configured to receive a sealing gasket for sealing the space between the control unit and the backguard panel, surrounds the opening. The control unit has a housing suspended from a proud glass pane that protrudes forward of the front wall of the backguard panel when the housing is fully inserted into the opening. Rearwardly projecting brackets establish a friction fit to temporarily hold the control unit in place until fasteners can be installed to apply a compressive force on the sealing gasket between the glass pane and the backguard panel. A cooking appliance with a backguard panel with an integrated front-mounted proud-glass control unit is also provided.

  • Patent number: 9674277
Abstract: Systems and methods for request isolation protection at a first server. The first server receives a resource request from a client device. The first server may receive multiple requests from the same client device or other client devices. The first server caches the multiple requests so that only one resource request is made to a second server storing the resource. The first server detects when the client device cancels the request to the resource. In response, the first server cancels the request made to the second server if there are no other requests made to the resource. If there are other requests remaining, then the first server does not cancel the request to the second server.

  • Publication number: 20160380861
Abstract: Transaction and session processing of packets within a network monitoring system may be distributed among tightly-coupled processing elements by marking each received packet with a time-ordering sequence reference. The marked packets are distributed among processing elements by any suitable process for transaction processing by the respective processing element to produce transaction metadata. Where a session-owning one of the processing elements has indicated ownership of the session to the remaining processing elements, the transaction-processed packet and transaction metadata are forwarded to the session owner. The session owner aggregates transaction-processed packets for the session, time-orders the aggregated packets, and performs session processing on the aggregated, time-ordered transaction-processed packets to generate session metadata with the benefit of context information.
