  • Publication number: 20200402193
Abstract: A computer apparatus, such as a validator node, for validating incident-related data records in a distributed electronic ledger is configured to receive a request from an agent to add a proposed incident-related data record associated with an incident to the distributed electronic ledger. In response to the proposed incident-related data record, the computer apparatus determines, from the distributed electronic ledger, one or more attributes of the agent or incident. The computer apparatus determines whether the proposed incident-related data record satisfies validation criteria based at least partially on the one or more attributes of the agent or incident. Once validated, the computer apparatus may then append the proposed incident-related data record to the distributed electronic ledger. Alternatively, the proposed incident-related data record may be appended regardless of validity, but an indication of validity may be appended if the proposed incident-related data record is validated.

  • Patent number: 10522147
Abstract: A device and method for generating text representative of lip movement is provided. One or more portions of video data are determined that include: audio with an intelligibility rating below a threshold intelligibility rating; and lips of a human face. A lip-reading algorithm is applied to the one or more portions of the video data to determine text representative of detected lip movement in the one or more portions of the video data. The text representative of the detected lip movement is stored in a memory. A transcript that includes the text representative of the detected lip movement may be generated. Captioned video data may be generated from the video data and the text representative of detected lip movement.

  • Patent number: 10354169
Abstract: Receive first context information including sensor information values from in-field sensors and a time associated with a capture of the first context information. Access a context to detectable event mapping that maps sets of sensor information values to events and identify a particular event associated with the received first context information. Determine a geographic location associated with the in-field sensors and access an imaging camera location database and identify particular imaging cameras that have a field of view including the determined geographic location during the time associated with the capture of the first context information.

  • Publication number: 20190197369
Abstract: Receive first context information (FCI) including entered in-field incident timeline information values from an in-field incident timeline application and a time associated with an entry of the FCI values. Access a mapping that maps in-field incident timeline information values to events having a pre-determined threshold confidence of occurring and identify an event associated with the received FCI. Determine a location associated with the entry of the FCI and a time period associated with the entry of the FCI. Access a camera location database and identify cameras that have a field of view including the location during the time period. Retrieve audio and/or video streams captured by the cameras during the time period. And provide the audio and/or video streams to machine learning training modules corresponding to machine learning models for detecting the event in and/or video streams for further training of the machine learning models.

  • Publication number: 20180076350
Abstract: A solar cell for a solar cell array with one or more grid on a surface thereof, wherein electrical connections are made to the grids in a plurality of locations positioned around the solar cell; and the electrical connections extend to one or more conductors located under the solar cell. The conductors located under the solar cell are buried within a substrate, and each of the conductors comprises a low resistance conducting path that distributes current from the solar cell. The conductors are loops, U-shaped, or have only up or down pathways. The solar cell comprises a full cell that has four cropped corners and the locations are in the cropped corners.

  • Patent number: 9176949
Abstract: Systems and methods for performing logical semantic sentence comparisons and sentence-based searches. Training is performed by running an NLP pipeline on unstructured text comprising sentences and creating sentence matrix representations on the unstructured text; storing the matrix representations in an indexed database; combining the stored matrix representations; running an SVD on the combined matrix; storing the SVD components in the indexed database; reiterating through the output of the NLP pipeline the sentences of the unstructured training text to form a low-dimensional matrix conversion for each sentence for storage in the database based on the calculated SVD components. Subsequent query statements are run through the same process based and converted into low-dimensional matrix representations using the SVD components from training; the low-dimensionality query matrix is compared to the stored low-dimensional matrices to determine the closest relevant documents, that are returned to the user.

  • Patent number: 8977225
Abstract: A unidirectional sampling mixer utilizes a stepped phase modulation to shift the frequency of an input signal. An RF input signal is supplied to an RF input switch from an RF input port. An ordered set of phase shift values to be applied to the RF input signal and a set of times each element of which correspond to a time at which a phase shift value is be applied to the RF signal are determined. For each phase shift value within the ordered set of phase shift values, a controller controls the RF input switch to select an input of a phase shifting device and controls an RF output switch to select an output of the phasing shifting device. The input of the phase shifting device and the output of the phase shifting device are selected to apply the phase shift value at its corresponding time to the RF input signal. A frequency shifted signal is supplied to an RF output port from an output of the RF output switch.
