  • Patent number: 11703338
Abstract: A system includes a processor configured to receive requirement values, from a vehicle-providing entity, for a plurality of predefined tunable routing parameters. The processor is also configured to select and assign entity-associated, routing parameter consideration-levels, based on the values correlated to a predefined schema of consideration-levels for each parameter. The processor is further configured to receive a plurality of pick-up requests and determine, using the entity-associated routing parameter consideration-levels, a routing-plan for a plurality of vehicles to service the requests such that the received values are met.

  • Publication number: 20230219666
Abstract: A shiplift transfer system for moving a ship between a shiplift platform and a shipyard is disclosed. The system includes transition rails coupled with the shipyard that are pivotable about trunnion pins between a position that bridges a gap between the shipyard and the shiplift platform and a position that is clear of the gap and of the shiplift platform. The pins are positioned such that the load is not transferred to the pins. Load on the transition rails is reacted at curved surfaces of the transition rails that are engaged with curved surfaces on the yard. The transition rails are accessible for maintenance and replacement via removable plates. The rails include beveling to accommodate misalignment between the yard and platform.

  • Patent number: 9786977
Abstract: An example circuit board structure includes: a substrate; and vias that are electrically conductive and that pass through the substrate to enable electrical connection through the circuit board structure. The substrate is thinner, and lengths of the vias are shorter, in first areas of the circuit board structure that deliver first speed signals than in second areas of the circuit board structure that deliver second speed signals and power. The first speed signals have a shorter rise time than the second speed signals.

  • Publication number: 20160097554
Abstract: A smartphone-operated wireless HVAC airflow anemometer device and system includes an anemometer device having an impeller assembly, an inductor and a controller. A magnet within the impeller assembly generates an oscillating current in the inductor which is proportional to the rotational rate of the impeller. A controller captures and transmits this information wirelessly to an airflow balancing application located on a smartphone device that includes a plurality of algorithms for calculating airflow information. An environmental sensor unit, and an electronic compass are also located within the wireless anemometer device.

  • Publication number: 20160097555
Abstract: A smartphone-operated HVAC airflow anemometer device and system includes an anemometer device having an impeller and a photo interrupter circuit. The circuit generates an output signal that is proportional to the rotation speed of the impeller, and transmits the same via a headphone jack to a smartphone device running an airflow balancing application. The airflow balancing application receives airflow data from the anemometer and provides power to the same. The application can apply one or more algorithms to the received airflow data to generate airflow information which can be stored or transmitted by the smartphone device.

  • Patent number: 8782811
Abstract: A cleaning station for thoroughly cleaning the AFM component surfaces that are exposed to fluid during imaging of a sample supported in a fluid medium is disclosed. The cleaning station is designed to selectively expose the AFM component surfaces to cleansing agents, such as soap/detergent and water, plasma cleaning, etc., and cleaning tools, such as brushes, while protecting fluid sensitive components from exposure to the cleansing agents. The preferred embodiments are particularly beneficial for scanners in which the fluid sensitive components (actuator, sensor, connector, etc.) are integrated in the same device to which the cantilever holder is attached.
