Publication number: 20230342726Abstract: System and method for a consumer to arrange a live bi-directional audio/video feed to a previously unknown service provider either by selecting from a set of dynamically determined categories or through natural language search techniques. Service providers have previously indicated their availability which the system uses to select and present to consumers.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 21, 2019Publication date: October 26, 2023Applicant: TASKHUMAN, INCInventors: Kartik Thumbavanam PADMANABHAN, Daniel MAZZELLA, Ravi SWAMINATHAN, Allen SAMUELS

Publication number: 20190373165Abstract: Artificial intelligence (AI) models are switched, tuned and retrained. This process may be performed with respect to systems having artificial intelligence engines in connection with video cameras and associated video data streams. An AI model is obtained for a video camera based on, for example, historic video streams from the camera for the past day, week, month, year, or any other time period. The AI model is then modified for the camera after the system obtains, for example, data internal to the video camera, data external to the video camera and data related to objects of interest for the video camera. As the AI model is modified, a processor associated with the system may adopt linear regression algorithms to regress conditions to the modified model and other available models.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 9, 2019Publication date: December 5, 2019Applicant: WIZR LLCInventors: Genquan DUAN, David CARTER, Michael MARSHALL, Daniel MAZZELLA, Andrew PIERNO

Publication number: 20190370559Abstract: Segments are generated with respect to images and rules are correlated to the segments. The images may be associated with the field of view of a camera that is used in systems having artificial intelligence engines in connection with video cameras and associated video data streams. A video processor identifies element in a video stream, examples of which include various regions in a view, such as sky, vegetation, buildings, etc. The elements may be identified based on elements that were previously identified for other cameras and can be updated in response to the view changing. Segments are created around the different identified elements. Rules are assigned to the segments. The rules and segments may be stored for later reference when analyzing events within the view of the video camera.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 9, 2019Publication date: December 5, 2019Applicant: WIZR LLCInventors: David CARTER, Genquan DUAN, Andrew PIERNO, Daniel MAZZELLA

Publication number: 20190370560Abstract: Changes in sizes of objects over long periods of time are detected. The objects may be detected in the field of view of a camera that is used in systems having artificial intelligence engines in connection with video cameras and associated video data streams. A video processor identifies different elements in the video stream. Segments are created around the different elements identified. The video processor identifies an algorithm for each segment. An object is identified in the video stream. The video processor uses the created segments and the identified algorithms to detect changes in the object over time.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 9, 2019Publication date: December 5, 2019Applicant: WIZR LLCInventors: Andrew PIERNO, David CARTER, Genquan DUAN, Daniel MAZZELLA

Patent number: 10044872Abstract: In an approach for creating a hierarchal organization of spoken conference call topics, a processor determines an identity of a first speaker from a group of participants on a conference call, wherein the group of participants are known. A processor determines a first conference call topic, wherein the first conference call topic is determined using a portion of the first speaker's speech. A processor adds a second speaker's identity to a queue of speakers while recording the first speaker's voice. A processor determines a second conference call topic. A processor links the first conference call topic and the second conference call topic into a hierarchal organization of spoken conference call topics.Type: GrantFiled: March 27, 2015Date of Patent: August 7, 2018Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Shang Q. Patent number: 9705972Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure include managing a set of data associated with a corpus. By analyzing the corpus, a domain is established to characterize the subject matter of the set of data. A user identifier is generated for a portion of the set of data. Based upon a credibility computation, a quality factor for a portion of the set of data is determined. The credibility computation includes using both the domain and the user identifier to determine the quality factor for the portion of the set of data. The quality factor for the portion of the set of data is compared with a threshold. In response to a quality factor for a portion of the set of data exceeding the threshold, the portion of the set of data is selected.Type: GrantFiled: October 31, 2014Date of Patent: July 11, 2017Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Andrew S.
