Patent number: 5951062Abstract: The present invention provides a saddle-less fitting having a stepped outer wall surface. The stepped outer wall surface includes a first and second surface and a step. The step includes a first bowed band surface extending from the first outer wall surface a predetermined distance inward towards the inner wall surface. The fitting further includes an insertion portion which includes the second outer wall surface and a second bowed band surface. The first bowed band surface and the second surface are bonded to a prepared pipe with a bonding agent. A more liberal application of the bonding agent may be employed to cause the other fitting and pipe surfaces to further bond together. Patent number: 5635333Abstract: Reduction of reflection from an integrated circuit substrate during exposure of a photoresist layer on a surface such as an integrated circuit wafer is minimized by incorporating an antireflective coating between the photoresist layer and the integrated circuit substrate. The antireflective layer, after exposure and development of the photoresist layer, is preferably removed by exposing the non-masked antireflective layer to activating radiation while heating the coating to induce a solubilizing reaction in an antireflective coating and a curing reaction in an overlying photoresist mask. Patent number: 5191757Abstract: A discharge conveyor system for a cotton harvester which removes a commingled mixture of ripe and green bolls from cotton plants during a harvesting operation. The discharge conveying system includes duct structure having an inlet arranged proximate to an outlet on a harvesting head assembly from which the commingled mixture of harvested materials pass. An air system directs an air stream through the duct structure such that ripe or lighter bolls are drawn into the duct structure while heavier or green bolls fall from the outlet of the harvesting head assembly. The hydraulic drive system includes a source of actuating fluid and fluid pressure actuators for driving the harvesting units independently of each other. The conduit structure is preferably flexible to facilitate transverse positioning of the harvesting units on the head assembly. Patent number: 4620644Abstract: The adjacent edges for two covers of a tote box have interlocking fingers where separation is resisted by means of hooks on one or more of the covers engaging side flanges of the box to lock the covers in place. The closed covers present a flat surface inset with respect to a plurality of abutments in the vicinity of the sides and ends that prevent side shifting of a like box stacked on top of it. The side abutments have a second function of latching into the end walls to hold the covers in their open position, even when a plurality of like boxes are nested.
