    Abstract: A toy comprises a plurality of building pieces that can be selectively interconnected using either interfitting bulbs and sockets or magnetic coupling parts, or both. Each building piece has a generally circular body that includes a plurality of circumferentially spaced connecting bulbs about an outer periphery thereof and a plurality of connecting sockets located inwardly from the bulbs on at least the front side of the body. The magnetic coupling part is located on at least the backside of the body and is rotatably secured to the body to permit the body to spin relative to the magnetic coupling part.
