  • Publication number: 20240102433
Abstract: A fuel injection nozzle is connected to a pump for injecting the fuel and to a fresh air supply for the internal combustion engine. In order to provide an injection device which allows temperature control of the injected media with a simple structure and arrangement in the motor vehicle, the injection device has an electric heating device for heating the fresh air supplied. The heating device is fluidically connected via a first hose section to the inlet side of the fresh air supply and via a second hose section to the internal combustion engine. The heating device has a layered heating block comprising at least one heat-emitting layer and at least one heat-generating layer coupled thereto in a heat-conducting manner The heat-generating layer includes at least one PTC element and conductor elements abutting opposed sides of the PTC element.

  • Publication number: 20220007465
Abstract: An electric heating device includes an electric control device with a control housing that is in structural unity with a housing of a power section. The power section has a frame forming a heating chamber. At least one PTC heating device with at least one PTC element and conductor elements is provided in the heating chamber. The control housing forms a chamber which is separated from the frame by a partition wall. A heat sink projects from the partition wall into the power section. The electric control device has a printed circuit board and at least one power switch which generates a power loss and which is connected in a heat-conducting manner to a surface of a heat sink. An electrically insulating layer and a spring element, which holds the power switch applied under pretension against the surface of the heat sink, are provided between the power switch and the heat sink.

  • Patent number: 10723200
Abstract: A controller for an electric heating device comprising a support element and a busbar which is secured on the support element and which is connected to an SMD component in an electrically conductive manner. The busbar is part of an initially single-part stamped metal plate with a severed connecting piece, which separates the metal plate into a supply element and a discharge element, the elements being connected together in an electrically conductive manner solely via the SMD component. Also disclosed is a method of producing an electric heating device generally as described above such that the supply element and the discharge element are produced from the supply element region and the discharge element region on the stamped metal plate, respectively.

  • Patent number: 7785601
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of treating neurological conditions in a mammal by administering a hematopoietic growth factor such as granulocyte-colony stimulating factor (GCSF) and granulocyte-macrophage colony stimulating factor (GMCSF). The invention also provides methods of screening for compounds that bind to a GCSF or GMCSF receptor found on the surface of a neuronal cell; and which provides a neuroprotective, neuroproliferative and/or a STAT gene activation activity.
