  • Patent number: 12526185
Abstract: A computer device and method for automatically generating network configurations for connecting a plurality of network asset devices to a common network. Receiving, in a network configuration device, is metadata associated with each of the plurality of network asset devices to be installed on the common network. Assigning, in the network configuration device, for each of the plurality of network asset devices, a defined functional group consisting of one or more network asset devices. And generating, by the network configuration device, a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) reservation table defining a subnet mask for configuring the common network for implementation of the plurality of network asset devices for each defined functional group of network asset devices.

  • Patent number: 12470540
Abstract: A method is provided for storing a proxy site certificate and up-to-date cloud site certificates for cloud site(s), receiving a request from a client application executing on a client device to access one or more of the cloud site(s), the client device being a computing device, authenticating with the client application using the proxy site certificate and based on the proxy site certificate being pinned to the client application, requesting a secure connection with the cloud site(s) on behalf of the client application, receiving, in response to the request, a site certificate for each of the cloud site(s), authorizing with the cloud site(s) on behalf of the client application using the received site certificate for each of the cloud site(s) and the certificate data stored for each of the respective cloud site(s), and facilitating direct communication between the client application and the cloud site(s) that were successfully authorized.

  • Publication number: 20250300966
Abstract: A firewall and/or security appliance is provided between an external network or zone (network/zone) and an internal network/zone having a processing device configured to perform operations including receiving or transmitting inbound and outbound messages of network traffic between the external network/zone, an external port connected to the external network/zone supporting at least one secure protocol, and an internal port connected to the internal network/zone not supporting the at least one secure protocol, and providing firewall and/or security protection for filtering and/or monitoring the network traffic, including adding or removing encryption and/or first applicable security aspects of the at least one secure protocol before transmitting a message depending on whether the message is an inbound or outbound message.

  • Publication number: 20240146694
Abstract: Embodiments provide techniques for securely managing the transmission of register operations to endpoint devices (e.g., circuit breakers and other forms of electrical equipment). A firewall management component can add, through a secure communications channel, an entry to a firewall structure maintained on a firewall device. The entry can specify (i) a register operation for an endpoint device, (ii) a value for the register operation, and (iii) a count of times that the register operation can be performed. The firewall management component transmits register operation to the firewall device to be forwarded to the endpoint device. The firewall device is configured to forward the register operation to the endpoint device only if the count specified in the firewall structure would not be exceeded.
