  • Publication number: 20220044217
Abstract: A method includes, based on a request from a payor to initiate a remittance payment, determining a start time for processing the remittance payment and calculating an initial processing duration attributable to a remittance provider computer system and associated with the remittance payment. The method also includes determining availability of a partner associated with the remittance provider computer system to process the remittance payment, wherein the availability of the partner is determined according to the start time and the initial processing duration and based on calendar information received from the partner. The method also includes calculating a partner processing duration for the partner to process the remittance payment, and calculating a date of availability for a payee to access the remittance payment, wherein the date of availability is calculated based on the availability of the partner to process the remittance payment and the partner processing duration.

  • Publication number: 20180264916
Abstract: A medicated vapor dispensing device for a vehicle includes a housing that defines an internal space. A plurality of openings is positioned through a back of the housing and a plurality of apertures is positioned through a front of the housing. A coupler is coupled to the back of the housing. The coupler is configured to couple the housing to a vent of the vehicle positioning the plurality of openings to admit air exiting the vent into the internal space. Each of a plurality of pads is selectively impregnated with a substrate that is configured to vaporize from the pad. A slot that is positioned through a top of the housing is configured to selectively insert a respective pad into the internal space. The respective pad is configured to emit the substrate into air passing through the internal space into an interior space of the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20140122190
Abstract: Detecting whether a resource is available and facilitating the selection of a resource from a set of resources, some of which may be available or unavailable at any given time can be a challenge. One such resource is a suitable place to park a vehicle including automobile, motorcycle, and bicycle. Finding parking can be a significant challenge in population dense environments. Certain embodiments of the present invention are configured to assist users with quickly and efficiently finding a parking slot near his or her location or destination. The system may be configured to generate parking slot suggestions based on one or more of a wide range of individual or group preference criteria. Advantageously, facilitating quick and efficient parking reduces traffic congestion and pollution.

  • Publication number: 20060106701
Abstract: The invention provides a remittance platform in which an enterprise, such as Wells Fargo, serves as a remittance transfer agent, where the remittance function is integrated with a bank. The invention allows access to the remittance program by both account holders with the enterprise and persons who do not have an account with the enterprise. The person accessing the service may pick the remittance service they want and the country they want. However, the service is not anchored to a particular account and can therefore work with both bank partners and non-bank partners and account holders and non-account holders. Further, the system may be private-labeled. Additionally, the invention provides a mechanism that allows one to send money easily to other countries and it allows bank partners to participate in the program easily as well. This is possible because the enterprise provides all of the processing in an integrated fashion.
