  • Publication number: 20250196188
Abstract: A medical instrument has a distal end for insertion into a patient and a sensor unit at the distal end that is configured to capture and convert a measured physical variable into an electrical measurement signal. The sensor unit is a sensor stack constructed in layers and having a first portion and a second portion. The first and second portions each have functional layers arranged one above another. The functional layers are applied to one another in layers and cover one another at least in portions. The first portion includes a first insulation layer, a first electrode, a piezoactive piezo layer, a second electrode layer, a second insulation layer, and a shielding layer. The second portion includes an insulation layer, a first conductor track, and a second conductor track. The sensor unit and the medical instrument are produced by a method.

  • Publication number: 20240286137
Abstract: A microtiter plate, preferably in the form of an injection-molded part composed of plastic, having at least one first and one second fluid chamber, which are designed in particular as measurement chambers and are connected to one another by a fluid channel which, in cross section, is closed or enclosed on all sides or all the way round, and the fluid channel is assigned a bubble trap, by way of which the movement of air or gas bubbles moving along a top wall portion or a top wall of the fluid channel, the top wall portion or the top wall closing or enclosing the fluid channel upwardly, in particular from one fluid chamber to another fluid chamber, can be stopped.

  • Publication number: 20240050011
Abstract: A composite component having a piece of material which is elastic in particular and is composed of a foam material or an elastomer material or a silicone, where the piece of material is bonded, inextricably in particular, to a film sensor for measurement of one or more parameters, especially parameters of a human or animal body, having a piece of film with at least one electrical wire disposed on said piece of film, and having at least one measurement sensor which is preferably disposed on said piece of film and is connected to the electrical wire in an electrically conductive manner.

  • Publication number: 20240041406
Abstract: A sensor unit for securing to a human or animal body, especially to the skin of the body, having a sensor portion that has a film sensor for measurement of one or more body parameters, having a piece of film that has at least one electrical wire disposed on said piece of film and having a measurement sensor that has electrically conductive connection to said wire and is preferably disposed on said piece of film, and having an electronics portion which is connected, preferably releasably, to said sensor portion and has an electronics unit for operation of said film sensor.
