  • Patent number: 5701139
Abstract: A system for tracking and replicating the operation of a cursor manipulation device in a computer system is disclosed, wherein the computer system includes a monitor and a cursor manipulation device having an icon representing the location of a cursor on the monitor. The system for tracking and replicating includes recording apparatus for capturing a plurality of data points transmitted by the cursor manipulation device and a first multiplicity of events on the monitor. The datapoints and the events on the monitor occur while the icon travels between a first location and a second location on the monitor and the recording apparatus is also operative to identify the first and second locations.

  • Patent number: 5618560
Abstract: Articles for the controlled delivery of an active substance into an aqueous phase by erosion of surfaces of the articles at a substantially constant and pH-independent rate, the articles comprising a matrix of crystalline polyethylene glycol polymer and a non-ionic emulsifier having an HLB value in the range of from about 4 to about 16 dispersed in the matrix in an amount of between about 2% and 50% by weight of the crystalline polyethylene glycol polymer and the emulsifier, the emulsifier having at least one domain which enables the emulsifier to become emulsified in the melted crystalline polyethylene glycol polymer and being selected from the group consisting of a fatty acid ester and a fatty alcohol ether, the active substance being dispersed in the matrix or located in geometrically well-defined zones within the crystalline PEG phase or dispersed in the emulsifier and, optionally, a filler.

  • Patent number: 5511185
Abstract: A system and method for automatic testing of computer software is disclosed. Additionally, a system for tracking and replicating the operation of a cursor manipulation device in a computer system is disclosed, wherein the computer system includes a monitor and a cursor manipulation device having an icon representing the location of a cursor on the monitor. The system for tracking and replicating includes recording apparatus for capturing a plurality of data points transmitted by the cursor manipulation device and a first multiplicity of events on the monitor. • Patent number: 5213808
Abstract: An article for controlled delivery of an active substance into an aqueous phase has a first layer containing an active substance, and a second layer of a crystalline polymer matrix and a non-ionic surface active agent, the second layer also containing the same or different active substance substantially homogeneously dispersed therein. The article enables release of a drug at a constant plateau level, followed by a pulse of drug after a predetermined time, thus making the composition of the invention especially suitable for use in, e.g., treatment of rheumatoid arthritis or related disorders with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents.
