    Abstract: A method for providing a game comprises the steps of (i) communicating a first predicted outcome that is determined by a first user to a network via a first input device, the first predicted outcome relating to a future occurrence during a sporting event; and (ii) communicating an actual outcome of the occurrence from the network to the first input device substantially concurrently with the actual occurrence. Additionally, the method can further comprise evaluating the accuracy of the first predicted outcome with the network by comparing the first predicted outcome with the actual outcome; and communicating information regarding the accuracy of the first predicted outcome from the network to the first input device. Additionally, the method can further comprise the step of awarding benefits to the first user based on the accuracy of the first predicted outcome.
