    Abstract: One example embodiment includes a system for elevating a portion of a mattress or a mattress support. The system includes a brace, where the brace is trapezium shaped. The brace includes a first side and a second side, where the second side is opposite the first side. The brace also includes a third side, where the third side connects the first side to the second side and a fourth side, where the fourth side connects the first side to the second side and is opposite the third side. Opposing sides of the brace are not parallel to one another and the brace is configured to support at least a portion of the weight of a mattress or mattress support in a sloped position.
