  • Patent number: 10811736
Abstract: A process for recycling an electrode material comprising graphene and an electrochemically active material is described. The process comprises a step of adding, in any order, water and a non-miscible solvent to the electrode material, thereby forming a biphasic system comprising an organic phase and an aqueous phase; and a step of separating and filtering the organic phase to recover graphene. The process optionally comprises additional steps of washing, drying, and/or thermally treating. Also described are electrodes including the recycled graphene, as well as the electrochemical cells and their uses.

  • Patent number: 10644319
Abstract: Described is a method or process for modifying the surface of carbon-coated electrochemically active materials such as complex oxides like olivine-type cathode materials. For instance, the surface of the carbon-coated powder material is modified to increase its hydrophobic characteristics. Also, specific groups may be grafted on the carbon surface of cathode material using the diazonium chemistry, for instance, by the spontaneous grafting of aryl ions generated in situ by the diazotization of an arylamine compound.

  • Patent number: 9378900
Abstract: A process for fabricating an electrochemical supercapacitor is disclosed herein. The process comprises depositing a carbon nanotube layer onto a first substrate; depositing a layer of metal oxide material onto the substrate forming a first electrode; depositing an electrolytic material onto the electrode; and joining the electrode to a first face of a solid electrolyte membrane such that the electrolytic material is disposed between the electrode and the electrolytic membrane. The carbon nanotubes, the metal oxide and the electrolytic material comprise distinct layers. An electrochemical supercapacitor fabricated by the above-referenced process is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 9151568
Abstract: An improved rifle sling comprising of three buckles on an adjustable belt. An adjustment buckle having two serrated openings, a hooked buckle having two serrated openings and a hook at one end and a sliding buckle angled or bent at the middle with two smooth openings. The adjustment buckle allows the user to adjust the belt to a desired length. The sliding buckle is attached to one end of the belt and slides about the rest of the belt. The sliding buckle hooks onto the hooked buckle that is attached close to the other end of the belt when carrying the rifle close to the body. The sliding buckle is unhooked from hooked buckle adding slack to the belt as it slides across it allowing the rifle to be raised normally when it is to be deployed rapidly into a shooting position. The rifle can be carried across the back or front of a user's body.

  • Patent number: 7668982
Abstract: The present invention provides a method and system for processing media data on a host processor. The method and system involve receiving media data, generating clocking signals, transferring media data to host processor buffers, generating media transfer done interrupts for each media data stream and generating an override interrupt to indicate to the host processor to process the media data. The override interrupt has high priority and effectively indicates to the host processor to forgo all other scheduled tasks and to start processing the media data.
