  • Patent number: 12639108
Abstract: Illustrative embodiments process large amounts of unstructured data by producing, from the unstructured data, a plurality of work items. Each work item includes an item of unstructured data, and corresponding work item metadata. Each work item may be claimed by a corresponding consumer node. In illustrative embodiments, a consumer node claims a work item only when the work item is compatible with the consumer node. The consumer node then processes the claimed work item by performing a specified task on the item of unstructured data associated with the work item.

  • Patent number: 11813934
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a slider bar to protect a battery pack of a vehicle. The battery pack is housed on an underbody in between the vehicle's front and rear axles. The battery pack protrudes towards the ground. The battery pack can optionally be covered by a shield that has a slot through which the slider bar extends outwards towards the ground. The slider bar is coupled to the underbody near the battery pack. The slider bar is positioned lower than the battery pack such that in an event of the vehicle bottoming out, the impact will be absorbed by the slider bar instead of the battery pack. Thereby, the slider bar protects the battery pack from scraping/scratching the ground.

Abstract: Illustrative embodiments process large amounts of unstructured data by producing, from the unstructured data, a plurality of work items. Each work item includes an item of unstructured data, and corresponding work item metadata. The work items are stored in a work item queue, where they may be claimed by, and processed by, a consumer node from a set of consumer nodes.

  • Patent number: 10471898
Abstract: A roll cover assembly for covering a cargo space of a vehicle includes a cassette housing an extendable/retractable roll cover, a first receptacle adjacent a first side wall of the cargo space and having a channel configured to slidably guide a first end of the cassette during insertion or removal, a second receptacle adjacent a second side wall of the cargo space and having an opening configured to receive a second end of the cassette and permit pivoting of the cassette about the second end during removal of the first end from the first receptacle, a locking mechanism releasably locking the first end of the cassette into the first receptacle, and a release device actuatable to release the locking mechanism by pulling along a line-of-action parallel with a direction in which the first end of the cassette moves during removal from the first receptacle.

  • Patent number: 10252675
Abstract: A height adjustable floor system for a motor vehicle includes a load compartment floor having front and rear floor members that are pivotally connected together to permit relative rotation about a transverse axis. The load compartment cover can be positioned in upper and lower load carrying positions and be moved between these positions with the aid of a pair of first side supports each having a continuous groove defining a path to be followed by a pair of spaced apart guide members located on left and right sides of the front floor member near to a front end thereof. The rear floor member is used to facilitate the transitioning of the load compartment floor between the two load carrying positions and the first side supports are so configured that in the load carrying positions load is not transferred from the load compartment floor to the guide members.
